Something Needs To Be Done

Ladies and gentlemen I stand before all of you on the verge of quitting this game because of a huge issue. See I love this game. I really really do. I think it's charming with all the animals and the animations and the customization... But something has me beyond frustrated at this point and I don't know if the developers truly realize the problem! SPACE!


Please hear me out... Just take a look at my zoo... ID: 4880403

Now if you haven't noticed I'm a very neat and organized player. I have 5 empty pens in my zoo because I set out pens to see where I can fit animals at. That's it... 5 pens are available in my zoo... Here I am at level 30 with literally 5 pens of space. That's it! Do you realize how fast I can fill those spaces up? I was doing perfectly fine until the breeding thing was implemented and then everything turned completely unbalanced. You guys have pushed out a ludicrous amount of animals and at this point I'm forced to not take part in the whole breeding thing because I barely have room for regular animals the way it is! I mean look... I got parrots I can still get, Kangaroos, Lions, Rhinos, etc, and not to mention the new mammoths recently added I still have yet to buy!

How am I supposed to get all of this without any space saving modifications? I've already farmed up an unreal amount of ZD for I believe 2 expansions and I'm still struggling?! I'm sorry but it's getting ridiculous at this point. And the thing that floors me is you guys are still pushing animals out without giving people more room to work with! I'm literally being forced to play selectively now which is the last thing I want to do! I like the animals I really do but it sort of defeats the purpose of making new ones when you have no room. And I mean sure I can farm up ZD to buy another expansion but even then how many expansions am I going to have to get before I get a sufficient amount of space in this game? Please do bare in mind everything I have in that zoo I haven't spent a single dime on at all!

And you know what? At the rate I'm going I may very well start removing pens that aren't completed from my zoo to reserve space. Are you guys getting the seriousness of the situation here? I don't want to do that! I love my rattlesnakes! I love all the animals and I would kill to have them all in my zoo and I long to have that! But how am I supposed to do that with such little amount of space?! Can't you guys make "Exhibits"? Like an exhibit where we can throw all our elephants, an exhibit for all our parrots, an exhibit for all of our Rhinos, etc.

And I can guess the response I'm going to get. "Why don't you use your hidden zoo?" Well allow me to answer that. I'm going to be completely blunt here. The hidden zoo is useless! My hidden Zoo right now is basically a glorified storage closet for all of my buildings that I have no room for in my main zoo! Yeah that's another thing. It is literally impossible to fit all of the buildings and all of the animals in one zoo with what I have right now! That just reinforces my point more that we need more room! And besides what is the point of the Hidden Zoo when no one else can view it? I want my animals to be on display! Not hidden in some storage closet that no one can even see! Kind of defeats the purpose don't you think?

And the worst part of all is if nothing is done about this either I'm going to farm up 300 ZD for another Expansion which I don't even know how far it will take me before I need another expansion or I'm going to end up quitting from frustration...

Please forgive me if I'm sounding rude in this post but I need to get my point across here. Things need to be fixed and I am on my knees begging and pleading that this message gets forwarded to the proper people.

Hey Grandore.

Firstly, my friend, I will say to you that it's good to get things off your chest, otherwise your frustrations can become all-consuming. Persoanlly I agree with the majority of what you have written here.

All I can say to you is hang on in there - there is talk about the -refactoring of ZooMumba, and one thing being the ability to put more than one sub breed in a pen, so this is really gonna help us out space wise.

Do remember that the numbers and typres of animals, buildings and decorations count throughout the zoos, so you don't necessarily have to have all buildings and all decos in your main, your hidden and 3rd zoo (if you've got one), to keep your visitors happy and the PPs coming in.

In my main zoo, at the expense of the buildings and decos, I have one pen of every available animal (I think), though my spare room now is fastly running short.

If you want to show your hidden and 3rd zoos then you can always take a screenshot and paste them in the appropriate thread in the users' corner of the forum.

Come on, Buddy, you've been around a while and we don't want to lose one of our good friends - stick it out and keep up the good work. There can't be many who have got as far as you have without actually spending a single dime of your own. You and your zoo really are an inspiration to those who for whatever reason, cannot or will not use real money.

With you on the space thing Grandore - I clocked up a shedload of ZD and managed to fully expand my zoo, but still not enough room for every species. Have sent you a friend request BTW.

I totally agree with Grandore too. I feel the breeding has kinda got out of control for the amount of room we have. Please dont go Grandore as Beast says youve been around a while and maybe the devs might listen as they do try

Hi Grandore, I have to agree with what you and the others say.. the breeding is fast and furious, if your prepared to buy zd's then you get the new breeds quickly, if like me you have to rely on vids then it's a slow and painful job some of the animals I haven't bothered to try... like you lack of space and time.. I have got the 3rd zoo by expansion of my secret one, I have a good few machines in there, it does free up a bit of room. I also felt the same about the secret zoo but since the expansion I've got it looking really nice, it's now a pleasure to visit it and care for my animals, I hope like the others that you don't go as your a well liked and respected player... Sorry if I've gone on a bit and gone off road but I think you understand what I'm trying to say...
