Forum Competition - Canada Day & Independence Day

Hey Zoo Directors

It's forum competition time again.

We should like you to design a greetings card for your animals to celebrate either

Canada Day on Sunday 1st July or
Independence Day on Wednesday 4th July

So let's see some funny ZooMumba related greetings cards, that your animals would be proud to give or send to their friends and relatives in Canada or the United States. You may choose to create either a card for Canada or a card for the US.. The style of the card is entirely up to you – and it is the front of the card that we want to see.

Competition Duration

The competition will be open from now until 12 Noon CET on Thursday 5th July. Please make sure your entries are submitted during this period.

Content

• Your greetings cards may be painted, drawn, crafted or you can use a computer graphics program, entirely your choice, as long as it is your own work
• your greetings card entries must be no bigger than 450 pixels across by 625 pixels in height

Don't forget to include your User ID number and your Username on your entry.

Post your entries below here in this thread – but do check out the rules as we don't want any of you to be disappointed because your entry is not allowed.

The Prizes

• 1st Prize: 1 Male & 1 Female Giant Scorpion, 1 Terrarium Habitat and all 6 Assistants for 24 hours
• 2nd Prize I Male & 1 Female Giant Scorpion and 1 Terrarium Habitat
• 3rd Prize 1 Male & 1 Female Giant Scorpion

The Competition Rules

The full rules are laid out in the above thread “General Forum Competition Rules”

All entries must conform to the rules above to be classed as valid. We regret that any entry that does not adhere to the rules will be deemed invalid and will not be considered for any prize.

All valid entries will be scrutinized by a panel of judges, made up from your ZooMumba Team. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence, regarding winners and allocation of prizes, will be entered into.

Winners will be advised here in the thread and prizes awarded as soon as possible after the close of the competition.

All that remains to be said is – enjoy the competition – have fun, be creative and good luck!

Hi! This is my greeting card. I did 'Canada Day'.
I used 'Photoshop' and 'Paint' for the map and I got the animals from the zoomumba forum and wiki. I did my greeting card on 'Powerpoint'.

As yuor card can be viewed enlarged just by clicking on it, there is no need for me to do anything - your entry is fine as it is, thank you.

Another difficult choice to be made here, thank you for that . The superb designs are very different and we love the inclusion of the zoo animals and your wonderful use of colour.

We have now made up our minds and the results are as follows.

1st Prize: MarkBoy
2nd Prize: Puppy
Joint 3rd: Patucaki & Chrissy. You will each receive a pair of scorpions

The prizes will be booked to you very shortly.
