We have another exciting event for you all: We have some new animals for you to breed and.....we’ve brought the twins back.

From 12.00 Noon (CET) on Thursday, May 23rd until 12.00 Noon (CET) on Tuesday, May 28th any breeding you do in your breeding lab will produce twins.

The special sweetheart and nursing potions as well as super-feed and power-feed will be available to you in your zoo shops at a discount. Remember also, using the breeding lab booster will guarantee you twins of at least 1 level higher that the lower level parent… But make sure the booster is active at the time of the birth.

There is also an update to the animals available for the breeding lab and animal nursery – the Turtles.

From Thursday at 12 Noon CET there will be 3 new species of turtles. You start your breeding with the original turtle. The new species are:
  1. the Red-footed tortoise
  2. the African spurred tortoise
  3. Golden albino tortoise


As always the animals in the breeding lab and nursery will be available to breed and raise as an on-going process, not just during any events – such as the twins event. The new turtle species are available at Level 10 (but since the twins are for every breeding animal, all other users can profit from the event, too. J)

Wow! We have the twins event back again. We know this is one of our favourites.



From 12.00 Noon CET on Thurday 23rd May until 12.00 Noon CET on Tuesday 28th May all births in the breeding lab ill be twins. Don't forget to mke use of the breeding booster too, which guarantees us twins of at leat one level higher than the lower level parent.

Also we have some discounted feeds and potions to be bought in our shops.

We are being joined by some new Tortoises, or Turtles if you are in North America:-
  1. Red Footed Tortoise
  2. African Spurred Tortoise

The tortoises/turtles that we already have are the initial stage in the breeding.

Not that you would forget, of course :rolleyes: but do remember that your breeding lab and nursery are in the city now NOT in your ordinary zoo areas.

I've just noticed that the task that I've been unable to complete has changed the reward from 7 of the super feeds to ep
I was only sticking with it to get the power feed.

Is this normal, as I've never had a reward change during a task

I normally have to give medicine about a dozen times a day, but don't think I've seen a crying face for about 3 days now, so have been stuck on this task for a long time

To help our tortoises/turtles and our other animals celebrate World Tortoise/Turtle Day on 23 May, we have decided to have a forum competition.

Write a piece of poetry about your tortoises/turtles in your zoo, What are they doing, what do they get up to, what are they saying to each other and their friends ? The possibilities are endless – it's your choice. Just be creative, be humorous – but make sure it is all your own work.

It’s that special time of year
To celebrate with one and all
World Tortoise Day is drawing near
A day for tortoises big and small

To help them with their special day
We would like to read your rhyme
A few words written down to say
We hope you have a super time

Duration
  • The competition will be open from now until 12 Noon CET on Monday 27th May Please make sure your entries are submitted during this period.
Content
  • The form and style of your poem is up to you, it does not even have to rhyme, of course, not all poems do, but do keep it enjoyable and easy to read. We do realise that some of our forum users are young children and some do not have[FONT='Calibri','sans-serif'] English[/font]as their first language, so although we should appreciate it if you could use correct spellings, punctuation and grammar you would not be penalised if such things went mildly astray.
  • Entries should be at least 5 lines in length (as in a limerick) and no more than 32 lines. As a guide only, a single line in our forum threads would be a maximum of 12 to 16 words.
Post your entries below here in this thread – but do check out the rules as we don't want any of you to be disappointed because your entry is not allowed.
