Frage pirate test & sundays pirate battle

On saturday I had started the pirate test to gain access to map-11. As you know this test is to be completed in 8hrs and very difficult to accomplish as a single guilded player. ( I should know, I tried 3 times prior ) I battled for 6hrs before tiring, leaving 3 jacosa's and 17 npc's and 2hrs left to complete the test. On sunday I resumed play, feeling certain I would finnish the test. I started out by killing 1 jacosa and moved on to destroy a targeted npc, when it would'nt let me. Then I noticed the symbol for the sea battle on my ship and knew I was in trouble from then on for completing the test. I knew I had to get sunk real fast to elimanate myself from the sea battle and resume my task on the test. Well it took me 1 1/2hrs to finally get sunk, on purpose by other players etc. through no fault of my own, I feel this is a flaw that needs correcting some how.
I know I would've finnished the test easily with the time still available and the units I had left to defeat.
As you can guess I'm a bit PO'd having tried the test 3 times already and to be so close this time, and have the carpet yanked out from me.
Your input would be grateful or any ideas to retify this situation. Maybe having some kind of postponement on the test while sundays pirate battle is going on or some type of alert stating the test will resume.

HELP>HELP>HELP Thanks: Capt. jpconn

You do only get placed in the battle if you do register for that.... As such you can also unregister yourself on the HomePage.

Thanks
