Updated automatic bot detection system

Ahoy Pirates,

We know that a lot of you are concerned over the general theme of "bot use" as well as players who use exploits; this is also a huge concern of ours. Our old detection system had worked well but over the last months we have seen an increase in the numbers of these kind of players on the sea. One of our problems is that the creators of bots are very resourceful, regularly changing and updating their bots, but we have been making great progress behind the scenes to combat this.

We are adamant that Seafight should offer a fair environment for all our players. Therefore, we have put the issue of bot detection as one of our highest priorities and are constantly refining our detection methods in order to be able to locate all bot users and exploiters in the game. This has led to a massive increase in the number of users detected. Players found using an exploit or a third party bot are automatically caught by the system and will face the consequences of their actions in accordance with sections 8.3.1 and 8.3.2 of our terms of use.

We are confident that as we permanently adapt and develop the bot detection system, the number of bot users will gradually start to decrease again. We want to assure you that using a bot or taking advantage of exploits will not be tolerated and we will constantly strive to eliminate all such behavior to make our game as fair as possible.
