Default Changing account info...

Ok, this post is for us players and isnt so much needing a reply from the techical folks at BP. I'm working it out right now via the email route with them. How many of ya'll have had probs changing your email addy or shipname and ya dont receive the confirmation email? I've been info'd by bp that yahoo is a hater on the no-reply@bigpoint.com address. Has anyone found a way around that? Because if ya cant change your boat name, then ya sure as hex cant change your email address either.

Just to let you know mate it has happened to me also. The issue was resolved (for me) by adding the addy to my contacts list. As a side not, try not to bump if you can help it

lol, i contacted my isp thru which my email is a part of also. After an hour (yeah, an hour) of online detective work, we ended up with a fail. He sent me to a link to unblock the bigpoint.com domain. Which is silly 'cuz I'm corresponding just fine the the customer care team. It's the no-reply at bp.com I'm not receiving mail from. I added that addy to my contacts list and tried again to change the boat name and still no joy. gotta laugh at this. The last piece of email in my saved fold from no-reply was 12-31-10. I hope this getsa fixed soon. It kinda bein a drag, ya know.

i think the issue u guys are talking about is the same one i have. You try to change something and the link never comes and when it finally does it tells u it expired. Well i tried it on 3 diff. boats several times each with the same result eachtime. Than i sent to support about the problem and maybe it was luck maybe it wasnt but the next time i tried to change it it arrived in like 10 seconds at my email adress

it took a goodly amount of effort between me, my isp, and customer care at BP, but I got it resolved. What had happened was my email address had been "blacklisted". What that means, I dont know. All I know is that the email from "no-reply@bigpoint.com" was not going to my email. I had to authorize a bp employee to check my account to see if I was indeed blacklisted, and if so, to please remove my email from it.

Unglücklich Email change

I have yahoo to I am trying to change my email it confirms it on the first email and when I click on the link in the new email it takes me to the log in page but does not confirm it does anyone have this issue and if so do you know how to get it to go threw on the other end if so please post it thank you I have been trying for a week to change it HELP ME PLEASE.
