Extra 5% ammo damge

Hi

Over the weekend i was regularly hitting 14 15 and some times 16k damage using elite ammo of all varieties, i have pumpkin flares and standard elite ammo this was due to me haveing the extra 5% for completeing the blue scroll, and was supposed to last for 28 days, however the best I have been achieving today is 12 13 and 14K can you pleasse explain this I am fireing 9 decks with 50 pounders on and 105 55 on my main ship deck.

Can you please investigate, oh and in both instances I had powder selected. with the same ammount of powder monkies and my cannons at full rep thanks to the gunners mate

Doing the math it looks like your cannons are hitting correctly

195 pearl cannons...hit at 75% accuracy (avg)
pearl ammo does 75 hp damage
10% additional damage using powder
5% additional damage awarded from scroll

195 x 75 x 75% = 10,969 average hit
10% = 1,097
5% = 548

10,969 + 1,097 + 548 = 12,614 average per shot

Ok so I should be hitting on average 12.6 with my extra 10 and 5 % so how do you explain thats what i hit with out powders and without my extra 5% hit powdeer how could I possibly have hgit consistantly 15 and 16 damage, what I am asking is what has changed from the weekend untill now

what is now stopping me hitting 15 and 16k

There isn't anything wrong with your canons. The amount your hitting is perfectly fine.

With the 195 canons, 5% bonus, and the 10% from powder monkeys: the max you can hit for is 16818.75 ... Now this is assuming that you get 100% accuracy in every shot.
So hitting for 15k-16k each shot constantly is highly unlikely to happen due to the fact that you don't hit for 90% - 95% accuracy with every shot that you take.

As you know, the pumpkin ammo was a special case which caused more damage during the event in which the numbers are not the same. But with regular ammo... You can hit 15-16k but that's not the norm. The range from 12-14k sounds about right for what you should be firing (70-85% range).
