Default Religions

Not sure what you are alluding too, but why bring up religions at all? This is a game and it should be treated as such. If we nit pick at every little thing that may offend us, then quite a few of the names should be banned in this game. This is about pirates, and i am sure, as a reference, that they used history to come up with ships names. As far as the point of the game. You get a ship and shoot ships and monsters. Making it into something else shouldn't be done.

Like people have said in your Update and Idea thread, this game was not intended at all to be religious. They put out special ships that are famous with historical reference to them. If there were a historical special muslim ship that you'd like to suggest they put out as an event you can suggest that in the update/idea thread. But like people have said, this is a game about pirates, not religion.

admins are smart people invisiblekiller...if they think to do ship with cross they would think other people too.im not going to teach anyone how to use their brain.i shouldnt think these thingss not my business but if they want justice to all players they must take care about their events too.if you want see some example...check this thing first world map drawned by one turkish pirate with name Pîri Reis. Im not turkish but i have know history well.if the racist leaders of this game will hide this things of course they will not care about players too.And that Notice at idea pool make me so laugh funny thing -Your idea should make sense to every player- hahaha...this just fake that all.

mist4ke, you may think you know almost everything about online games, but you know almost nothing about grammatical structure of the English language. I am quite sure that English is not your primary language, so I will give you some slack there, but if you're going to complain, you may want to make sure that it is easy to read. No one will take your comments seriously if they have to re-read them three times in order to understand what you're trying to say.

Also, I would have to guess the cross has nothing to do with religious preferences. Crosses were actually first used in the stone ages, and they continued to be used as symbols in Celtic and Germanic cultures (please note that since Seafight is a German game).

Also, Elcano and Magellen were both Spanish explorers. So I doubt that has any religious connections either.

Best regards,

Default religion

I would also like to add this: Since seafight is only three years old, what does playing online games for nine years have to do with seafight? They are doing a great job and trying to be diverse with the games, such as having different servers for different regions. May i remind you that this is a game, if you want to put in any type of religious connotations in it, that is your prerogotive. But above all remember, again that it is a game and should be treated as such.

Very well said.

I bet the complainant of this thread is a person that has issue's with Christmas cards and stores selling Christmas decorations because of the religious meaning of them and will go on record saying everybody is a racist because they dont share his/her views.

Dude just get over it its a game thats all, were here to have fun not change the world or start another religious war. pfft/

Like someone said earlier..why would you even want to bring religion into this? honestly..... think about it..... has SF ever refereed to a religion? oo a cross on a flag... they are "honoring" i guess you would call it the person that that day was celebrating. Not honoring a religion. It's not "racist" as you call it. It doesnt make anyone feel bad (except you) and no problems have ever come from the cross on the boat...except now of course.
