3 times banking multiplier eligible?

i have the three time pearl multiplier in hte top right of my screen does it still give you three times the pearls? Or is it jsut there for looks? I heard that it didnt work for some people.

When you buy pearls you'll get twice the amount of pearls for the same money (once). If you don't receive enough pearls, post in the pay problems section.
