Default A small FAQ regarding Admirals

What's the big deal about these Admirals?
  • The Admirals don’t sail around the map 24/7; they have to take a break once in awhile and stock up their supplies.
  • Just like you, these NPCs have an elite mate on board and perform repairs on their ships when they aren't under attack.
  • Hits on targets are randomly distributed among attackers!
  • The rewards will be distributed proportionately; however, the total reward decreases as the number of attackers increases. If you only destroy a few hit points, it's quite possible that you won't receive any reward at all.
  • From level 6 on, we consider you to be an experienced pirate, and the admirals Jack & Sinclare are no longer worthy of your time and effort. If you want to waste your time destroying them, be our guest, but you won't receive any rewards or points in the Hall of Fame for "Admiral points".
Where the blimey can I find these admirals, and what are their bloody names?

The names and locations of the admirals have been passed on by word of mouth from ship to ship. We've been able to gather the following info for you:
  • Admiral Jack-NPCs are on the level 1
  • Admiral Sinclare-NPCs are on the level 2-7
  • Admiral Calico-NPCs are on the level 6-9
  • Admiral Kiribati-NPCs are on the level 10 and 11
  • Admiral Lucia-NPCs are on the level 11 - 13
What else is included in this update?

You'll find not just one, but two new Halls of Fame: Everyone who participates in attacking an admiral gets credit for his hit points in the "Destroyed hit points (Admirals)" Hall of Fame. If you were directly involved in sinking his ship, you'll receive additional Admiral points in the Hall of Fame "Admiral points". You'll also receive the appropriate confirmation message. Players who don't receive the confirmation message didn't have a sufficient number of hit points against the admiral to be counted. So, how many points do you net for giving an admiral a free vacation in Davy Jones' Locker?

  • Admiral Jack - 0 Points
  • Admiral Sinclare - 1 Point
  • Admiral Calico - 2 Points
  • Admiral Kiribati - 4 Points
  • Admiral Lucia - 8 Points

Default Repair cannon and repair ammunition

You can use the repair cannon and the repair ammunition to repair fellow mates and protect them against danger more effectively.

What exactly does this update mean?
  • For every round you fire at an allied pirate and for every hit you make, you’ll repair a percentage of the damage caused to your fellow mate (0.03% for each cannonball which hits its target). The only requirement is that your fellow mate is not allowed to have their maximum amount of hit points and must have at least 500 hit points left.
  • Warning: You aren’t limited to repairing a specific amount of hit points, so the more your ally has been damaged, the more points you’ll be able to repair.
  • Black gunpowder and armor plates will also increase your repair strength. If you’ve activated black gunpowder, your repair strength will be increased. If your fellow mate has their armor plates activated, the repair will also receive a boost of up to a maximum of 12,000 hit points per round.
  • Repair ammunition is completely weightless and therefore doesn’t influence your speed at all
  • Repair ammunition will always give you double elite points
  • Jackpot players can’t be repaired.
Can I fire repair ammunition from a normal cannon?

No, repair ammunition will fall apart in normal cannons and will have no effect. To fire repair ammunition, you’re going to need a special cannon which you can buy for gold or pearls. If you attempt to fire repair ammunition without having a repair cannon on board your ship, you’ll receive a message.

How do things work if multiple players repair one ship?

If a pirate is being helped from multiple players at once, the rewards for repairing the ship will be distributed according to the following principle:

If you repair a player who is currently in the middle of a battle, you’ll receive, in addition, a part of that 100% of the EPs, the repaired ship shot during the repair process and receive experience points for it!

In order to receive the reward, you need to have repaired at least 5% of your fellow mate’s maximum number of hit points. If multiple players are repairing at the same time, at least 5% of all the repaired hit points have to be from you, otherwise you’ll sail away empty handed.

If a player who has been repaired does not launch an attack within 5 minutes after being repaired, you as the helper will not receive any rewards.

Can I repair my fellow mates while they repair their ships themselves?

Yes. Since ship repair is considered a defensive maneuver, the repairing of the mate’s ship will not be canceled if you lend them support with repair ammunition. In fact, it will only help speed up the ship’s repair.
