Multiple errors

Since i logged on today i have found multiple errors and i have proof of 2 of them. a few minutes after i post this i will post the video that proves that these 2 errors are happening. 1) admirals are paying nothing. and 2) for some reason since i logged on today i have been able to start firing outside of my rocket range. i don't know if you shortened rocket range or improved cannon range but i do not want to be seen as a cheater so i am pointing it out. it makes me feel terrible that my boat for some reason is doing it. i think we need some compensation for the first error as it means you cannot get any pearls from any npc. we have tried all of them and none of them pay anything. from dutchies to kiribati to big and little raid you cannot get pearls from anything.

There was a rebalancing of damage and range today, this was posted in the patchday thread.

Damage & Attack Rebalancing
Attack speed, damage calculation and critical attack formulas are now streamlined. Instead of several different attack and damage formulas, we have simplified the basic system. This allows us to make further changes more easily and if necessary in the future adapt the new system quicker.

• Fixed the “Distance Shot bug” – it is no longer possible for players to hit a target that is slightly out of range.
• Instead of firing different cannons at different times, the new systems only fires one salvo.
  • This saves consumables like Black powder
  • Instead of having to calculate (and send messages to the client) for every type of cannons, we now fire all cannons at the same time. Bonuses and stats of each cannon on the ship influences attack speed, damage calculation and critical hit chances are now calculated as average over all cannons.

Some players have complained that they are not hitting what they should be and a few are stating that they are causing more damage or reaching further.

I agree, but in the meantime, we will require the information to pass on to the developers so they can find the cause of the issue.
