Honest Players Server

Dear Developers and Management of SeaFight,


Would there be any way we could get a few new honest player servers created? This time the Terms and Conditions would be strictly enforced. It sounds like from previous responses from mods that there are some legal barriers SeaFight/Bigpoint depending is trying to deal with with certain known cheaters depending on their home country to where they reside and the laws that apply there.

I'm just trying to find some solution for all of us and give an enormous amount of relief to the remaining honest players who have stuck it out.

If you could find a way to transfer our accounts to a new "honest/high standards" server that would be awesome! Meanwhile the cheaters can be eventually dealt by SeaFight/Bigpoint on the old servers.

I know that cheating unfortunately won't be eliminated but at least hopefully it can be dealt with much faster on the new servers.

Is all this a fantasy request? Maybe but we need to keep trying since these cheaters are destroying a game we have enjoyed.


btw. I'll be back on the water hopefully this week. My computer has been dying so a new tower is on it's way. Been off for a few weeks now.

Whilst I understand your reasoning for posting, the legalities of the matter would not change, it's not simply terms of conditions of seafight, it's the Law.

Therefore this idea cannot be taken forward.

Isn't the Terms and Conditions created to protect SeaFight/Bigpoint and the players legally to some extent? I'm not trying to argue but simply get an idea as to understand this and see what the challenges are in this area and looking for a solution.

The challenge is stopping the players from using the same programs they use on the regular servers. Also, just because you call it an 'Honest' server doesn't change the legalities that need to be delt with when someone does in fact cheat.

As this is not a discussion thread I will close now but thank you for your idea and concern for the game.
