New paypal payment webpage is causing me problems

Hi there

I have used Paypal recently like a couple of days back and it was a breeze.

As I am living in China, I used the unionpay cards for payment.

This is linked to my paypal china account and successfully paid for over US$300 just a couple of days back

Now with this new web page ... it ask me to link a credit card ... I do not have any of them.

I only have a paypal account which already has a debit card Unionpay in it ...


How can I make payment?

I really need to buy more pearls like US$600 worth ... but it seems like I would not be able to do it anytime now.

when you choose your pearl package click on more payment options after you proceed to check out

After click to proceed the only options are Credit/Debit Card (no unionpay), Paypal, bank transfer, skrill moneybookers, click and buy

All these could not be used except for paypal up until yesterday.

The new paypal design that made it mandatory to link a credit / debit card. And they do not have unionpay as an option.

Please look into this, as I cannot understand why I need to link a card, when my paypal account has already been verified and linked.
