Don't know what I am missing?

Ok I buy the equipment needed to do the quests (armor, chains, floating devices, etc.) then I put them in use from the storage trove. But they don't show on my quest window as me having them. Therefore I cannot do some of the quests? Is this a bug of some kind?

I remember i had to log of when it did that or just refresh the page and then it showed up. (That could work)

I did that a couple of times and it still doesn't show I have those items. Tried moving them around again on my ship...still nothing. This is frustrating. grrrr
