The United States Boarder Patrol (UBP) is now recruiting. You dont have the elite ship and you're level 3, you say? Well, UBP can help. Once members get to level 3, we help them get the elite ship if they dont already have one. We are also a sizable guild, and have been around for a while. So UBP is a great guild to join for more reasons than one.

So, whether you're level 3 and look to get the elite ship now, or are level 1 or 2 and need just a little more time to get to level 3, join United States Boarder Patrol today, because "we'll get you what you want (the elite ship)"

the reason we ask that you make it to level 3 before we give you the elite ship is because we want to be sure that the members we're helping are serious about playing the game. we want members who frequently play the game, not members whose accounts stay idle for months.

-if you dont think you can make it to lv. 3, dont worry. we will help, and they are very simple tests to pass. it is very simple to get to lv. 3 without the elite ship



*we also have over 200 million gold in the guild pot, so we wont run out of elite ship money before you apply and get to level 3

as for you walshman, i know youre expirienced, so i dont need to explain anything to you. i look forward to seeing your application. also, dont feel rushed to move up. we have no timetable at UBP.

I am looking for a guild and yours seems like what I want in one. I ran a clan on xbox 360 so I have some experience and would be willing to help out. I am however new to this game and just learning the ropes. I am looking for a group of guys to hang out with so I don't get attacked all the time by big ships and it gets kind of boring when you have no one to talk to. I am currently level two with 4,114 exp and ranked 23,011. I have not started the quests for level two and I like looking for treasure(shinies). I don't know how to get the elite ships and i don't use any elite accesories. I am on mostly in the evening and night. My ship is the default ship and I am waiting until I feel I can last before I get a better ship. Big ships always like to use me as target practice and it is annoying. I like to help out other small ships if they are being double or triple teamed by other small ships. Also if you don't already I can create a website for the guild I know basic html coding. I can also make signatures and userbars.

I have an account on Global but currently on USA but level 2 on both maps.

yes Almighty_Assasin, i would love to have you part of UBP. it sounds like youre just the type of member who we can help out. once you get to level 3, we give you gold to bid for the elite ship and shipsmate (which repairs your ship at 5000hp every two minutes). even if you dont know how to bid, we help you out with that too. as part of UBP, you can shiny hunt as much as you want, because we're a guild who usually minds our own business and stays out of wars.

to gamedas, yes, you may apply to join the guild. i accept all members, no matter their expirience level. and you are not required to have anything like teamspeak, because we have a guild website that we use to chat between members.

right now, we are having some messes to clean up with other guilds due to an alliance we didnt want to be a part of, so youll have to stick with us during a rather tough time, but it shouldnt be long. after its resolved, the guild will be back to normal and you can progress throughout the game as you please, with as little resisitance from other players as possible.

I would like to join this guild because i can't do it alone >.> I am lvl 2 and currently use a Big Buccaneer and maxed it out with 40 cannons (only 30 pounders) and 116 crew. I want to be able to cross seas and survive... after a nasty encounter with a elite ship right after i wasted alot of round on a lvl2 ship ai... Also, after that i decided to spend most of my money on a considerable well armed Big Buccaneer instead of a poor armed King heon (the lvl 2 1million price ship). I'm willing to wait untill i have enough to arm my elite ship beofre i get it. Also... i would like to become lvl 3 under your clan.

to answer your question Mack01, we are United States Boarder Patrol (UBP) not Border Control (UBC). The United States Border Control is a different guild, however, it was started by a member who has a ship in UBP as well. there is also a Texas Border Patrol (TXP), a guild that was started by a former member of ours. confusing, i know, but you dont really need to worry about that.

well, i will consult with the rest of the guild about it (i would normally say yes, but since we seemed to have a bad exit w/you, a majority opinion would be in order). also, we no longer do allies at UBP, because alliances require that you help the ally fight their wars, and since we are a peaceful guild, we do not want to take on other guilds wars. we do NAPs now, which are almost the same as alliances (you agree not to shoot at each other and you can hang out on the waters, but you do not agree to help each other fight guilded ships).

to Geode95, yes, we are in the US map, which means unless you start a new account in the US map, you will not be able to join UBP:(. sorry for the bad news.

to zaberew, cracken88 joined our guild about a week and a half ago, and has been helped so that he got the elite ship. so there is no need to let him know he can join your guild, because he has already joined one:).

and to shimpy, i appreciate your enthusiasum, but i do not think that joining the guild again would be such a good idea. whether it be true or not, i think some permanent damage has been done as far as your image is seen by the UBP members. im have a feeling you wouldnt act up again, but as a whole the guild would not approve. also, i thought you just started a guild and we were going to talk about a NAP.

all right heres some help for you to send your application to UBP. first, i will say that you need to be on the US map, because if you dont play on the US map, then you cant join the guild:(. if you play on the US map, then here is how to send your application. click on "guild" on the main page (its on the bar next to hideout and bazaar). then scroll through the guild names on the list (the list is in ABC order). find United States Boarder Patrol, and then click "apply". you will need 50k gold to join.

as for the 1000 pearls you need, it is not possible to give pearls to other members. you are only able to give gold to members in the same guild as yourself. so unfortunately, you will need to gain the 1000 pearls on your own (it shouldnt take much more than 45 minutes by shiny hunting).

to damienjoeseph, you are welcome as well as anyone to join UBP. however, you have said that you are lv. 9 and use teamspeak, and therefore you probably think it is most fun to play when you talk to your guild mates via teamspeak. due to the fact that i, as well as almost every other member in the guild, does not use teamspeak (and rather an off-website guild chat created by a former member) you would probably get bored as part of our guild is you wished to use teamspeak.

i am not saying that we are a bad guild to join because of that, im just letting you know that we do not use teamspeak, even though in the past members have set up TS accounts for UBP.

hopefully this helps everyone. also, to let potential members know, we will soon be clearing the guild of in-active players to make more room for players who will be active.

well Matthew, i had a bit of an issue with your application. when i accepted you, it said that "user has already joined a guild". i just assumed that you had found another guild, which was fine. but, then when i was sending a welcome message to the other new members, your user name showed up in the members that i could send to. i thought that it was a mistake, so as not to confuse the other guild members, i fired your name, just in case you had joined a different guild so that other members wouldnt be confused.

Hey everyone, I wanted to give you an update on UBP. Yes the leader, Nextelcup, has been on very little in the recent weeks but is still in contact with us. I insure you the guild is still going strong, so strong in fact that there has been a waiting list to get into UBP as falabin knows. Nextelcup will be on more in the near future. The bottom line is that we needed to expand. Here is what we are doing. We started a second guild which is UBA (US Boarder Patrol Advanced). UBA is a branch of UBP and the two guilds will work together in every aspect of the game. You must be level 6 with 50k EP to join UBA. New players that are levels 1-5 and need the elite ship should join UBP (United States Boarder Patrol). When you reach level 6, you will then get promoted so to speak to UBA. That way we are able to keep the flow going and make room for newer players in UBP. If you are already level 6 and wish to apply, please apply to UBA. We currently have 3ships in level 10 and several in level 8. Our main goal is to help each other level up. No one does a test without support. We have both a chat site and a TS account. Neither are required and are used at your discretion. If you have any questions what so ever, feel free to PUB mail me. My username is Huxtamillion.

i am somewhat active[weekends mostly cause its classes]but in summer IM VERY ACTIVE!
im level 3...ive been in 2 guilds that have failed to meet my requiremnets...
but this guild seems worth it!
i will be with this guild as long as it keeps its promise to provide me with an elite,is acitve...well konwn..growing...and so on...and NO/barely having WAR...

In the past few weeks, I have begun to start playing this game a little more than I have in prior months (which was basically not at all). With this being said, I have also noticed that I am continuing to recieve applicants to UBP. While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I will be the first to say that UBP is not currently ready to start accepting new members and giving help to attain the elite ship.

The time is coming, and I will let you know on this thread when we will begin accepting again, but a few things must be done first. I am going to update our guild website, re-create a new chat site for the guild to communicate with (since we never have, and probably never plan to, use TS), and establish a few NAPs. After these things have been done, then we will begin to accept new members.

However, for those of you that are interested, we have contacted UBA, a guild started by a former member of UBP, and we will be working with them in the future. If you are at least lv. 6 and look to continue to rise through the ranks of Seafight, I encourage you to contact UBA. Their guild name is United States Border Patrol Advanced, and they are headed by carl011. I will post a link to their thread very soon.

To all UBP applicants, I have seen that you are continuing to submit requests to join the guild. I have some good news and bad news for you: the good news is that we have made a new chat site, which is one of the things that we needed to do before we could re-open the guild to the public. However, the bad news is that the guild website has not yet been completely updated, and until that is done, we cannot accept new members.

Good news to all of those who have waited patiently for UBP to re-open its doors: we are almost ready to begin accepting members again! After a few months deciding how we wanted to re-build the guild, we have finally made up our minds. Instead of updating our old website, we have decided to create a board specifically for UBP members and potential members. It is currently being updated, and I hope to have it ready by the end of this weekend. When it is completed, we will be ready to accept new members!

Again, thank you to all who have been waiting patiently for this event. I apologize for the extremely long down time, and I hope that we can again start to build a competitive, productive guild.

Good news! The UBP forum has been created, and we are now in the closing stages of our "construction" of the guild. Just a few more minor touches to the forum, as well as getting situated into the game again (as we have had a long layoff from frequent play), and we will be ready to accept members.

The best part about this is, we no longer will be keeping potential members in anticipation for our re-opening. Our projected re-opening of the guild (at least, this is our goal) is October 31st. Yes, thats right; well be back in time for Halloween. :D

Again, thank you to all of you who have been patient with us. I realize that I may not be talking to anyone in paticular, as we have been away from the game for so long, and the likelihood is that many people dont even know that UBP exists. However, for those members of at least 2 years, you may remember us, and we are going to strive to be back at top form like we were back then. At any rate, thank you to anyone who has at least given thought to checking progress of our return to Seafight.

P.S.- tbakken420, since you are level 6, you qualify to apply for United States Border Patrol Advanced (UBA), our sister guild run by a former member of UBP. They are an extremely talented guild, and will be able to help you much more quickly than we are able to at this point. My suggestion to you is to apply to their guild, let them know that I sent you, and theyll get you set up with an elite ship and whatever elite crew you need.

Well, Matthew, I did see your application, but then the next time I got on (to accept it), it was gone. I'm assuming you joined another guild? If you want to join us, we'd love to have you again, but please make sure it is okay with your guild if you do so.

Also, note to all potential members. I will be posting a new guild recruitment message in the next week or so on this thread. The new message will be an updated version of the first post on this thread. The reason for doing this is because, as you may imagine, our first post is outdated and inaccurate due to the fact that it was written over a year ago. This updated version should help new members be more aware of what UBP is really about.

NONE of the other 8 listed members is active at present.

At present, the first two listed above (Percy & john) are contributing 95% of the Guild tax collected each day - and have paid nearly 3,000,000 in the least 8 days.

I think it is my intention (and that of fuzzyjohn33) to seek another guild.

I don't think there is much point in anyone else applying to join this Guild at present.
