since i cant post this in the technical problems im gonna post it here

for some reason i dont seem to be getting elite points when i sink or capture a ship and i was wondering y, since i throught this was how u got elite points, i've only been playing this game for three day so sorry if its a stupid question.

The technical side is still closed. It's been shut for xmas holidays.
You get elite points for every elite cannonball you shoot. These are the balls you purchase with pearls and not gold.
If you purchase snowballs , then you will get x2 times the ammount of elite points.
If you read the other threads on this forum, all the answers are here, at some point someones's asked every question.:p

i've been using snow balls and explosive cannon balls that i got from using mojo to sink and capture the ships but i still havent got any points yet

do you have a pearl/elite ship (the terror of the seven seas bought in the bazaar). if you don't then you won't get elite points even if you are shooting off elite ammo. Once you get the pearl/elite ship you will start to earn elite points.

If you would have read the technical questions section properly you would have seen the following red highlighted text:

You need a pearlship / elite ship to benefit from the elitepoints.
