Ahoy Pirates,
one of the most important steps in the 6-year history of Seafight has been nearly done. Today we have started with the server Global Europe 5. "Nothing which concerns to me" - you will think. But it will.
We just have had our rollout of the new layout for our web page on this server. The players of you staying longer in the game may remember that we have spoken about the new layout several times in the past. The - how we call it: "Refactoring" - will completely change your game play and your feeling about the game. Experience the "Refactoring" on your own before it will be launched to your servers and register an account now on Global Europe 5! You can log in to this server with the link http://int9.seafight.com
But that's not all. Tomorrow morning at 8am. CET we will exchange the first server to the new web page. This will be the server Global Europe 3. All other servers will follow in the course of the January 2012 and also get the exchange to the new layout. A complete road map will be provided to you as soon as possible, supposably by the start of the next week.
Most important changes for functions in the game disregarding from the complete new layout (by the way: check out the profile which you can find in the cabin) :
If you buy sails you have to move them to the ship. It is your own choice now if you want to use sails on your ship or not.
You can buy elite items now directly in the menu “Trader”. You do not need to join the market cove anymore. Furthermore you can choose yourself how many items you want to buy.
You can achieve now more than 2 scrolls of a kind for each bonus map.
The “Wealth” doesn’t exist anymore. You can find your income and outgoings now in the logbook and filter the results there.
Boarding: Pirates will not be armed manually anymore. If you move the pirates and corresponding items from the storage to the ship/ship decks they’ll be used if you lose pirates by a boarding.
Of course because of the new layout you will have difficulties to find all the stuff you need to play. That's why we ask you: Take your time to experience the new web page and the new look first before you start playing on the sea chart. Otherwise you may have trouble to find the stuff you need during a fight.
For your feedback we have created a discussion round (http://en.board.bigpoint.com/seafight/showthread.php?t=416594).

But now enjoy the new layout of the web page,
