Turkeys/Winter Event

While fairly new to SF, my boyfriend is not and I am well aware of the past events BP has made available to players. I was looking forward to the Thanksgiving Event that I'd heard so much about. However, was quickly disappointed after staying up and waiting for nothing to happen. I have 2 comments:

1. I always see something on the home page when BP is offering something for us to buy and it would've been nice for the same consideration of a similar posting informing us that there would be no event.

2. While I agree with a comment that was made that BP is under no obligation to offer players anything or any sort of event, there is an expectation considering past events and offers just as while players are under no obligation to purchase anything from BP, I'm sure there is an expectation considering it helps to keep SF running.

There was no announcement of any kind that there was going to be an event. How much clearer would you like it so you will understand this?

I am Canadian and I expect an event for Canada Day and our Thanksgiving and we did not have one.

BP will put out an event when it feels like putting on an event. When their coffers are running low and they need an extra million euros for their christmas staff party they will put an event on for us.

i will have to say that this is an east server so no..there are no events for Canadians. And they usually post in the forum the day the event comes out. have they ever put a post saying there would be no event? no. So i think u need to reconsider your anwser to the previous post.

Could you be more of a twit when answering a legit question? I agree we don't need to celebrate every holiday with a seafight event. You really didn't have to make it a "Canadian vs U.S." thing. They do put on a 4th of July event and Christmas event....and even Halloween...those are pretty secular holidays since the 4th doesn't mean much outside the US, Christmas has little meaning outside of Christianity and Halloween isn't even a holiday. Let seafight put on whatever events they want and leave it at that.

well i feel witht the money players spend ont his game on a regular bassis that there should be an event for every holiday that said countrys server celebrates period.
