I am afraid you will have to ask other Players this question as prices do range into the millions.

Just be careful because if you are unsucessful in your bid you will lose the gold.

The price is different depending on the time, the server, etc.
sometimes someone can get a pearl ship for 1k gold, and sometimes more than 30 mil.

There is no answer to this question. It is the greatest mystery in the high seas.;)

There are many many things you will need to investigate to make a decision to this.

1. What server you play on.
~ Some servers have more long time players on it or long established guilds with large guild banks to give their players huge amounts of gold to grantee a winning bid.

2. Time of day = player on line.
~ Supply and demand... how many people want the item you want.

Ideally you would want to be in a knowledgeable guild with leaders and councils who are experienced and have your best interest at heart. They will want you to succeed so they will make sure to tell you the right times to bid and how much.

In my guild we have put a dummy bid in before.. where I would place a bid amount until I won it.. then hook my player up with slightly more then that amount ( I would have the advantage of knowing what amount at this point) .. then we all wait and cross our fingers and toes until the last minute and my player would place his or her bud and get t he item.:p

It is realy an issue that has no clear cut answer.

In bidding for any items in the bazaar you do want to make sure that you have room on your ship for the desired thing.. like when biding for sails, elite men,, etc.

The bid amounts do not stack.. you are correct.. each bid submitted is standing on its own.
