View Full Version : Party system
hello, i have an idea from other online games which i've played...
this system almost at every online game have..Party system at this way yu can make easier way for gather ppl for wars or pirate tests...there will be only little one bar which show party member hp status and their nick, for create party you will need write /party <nickname> or /party add <nickname> for lot of ppl playing this game there shouldnt be any limitation of party members .When yu click party member bar that would choose player which yu name click. and by this way you can choose more simple players with names and you can repair or trace them :)

why not just join a guild and get them to help you instead? you can repair them with repair canons, you can trace them by asking them in guild chat where they are or spy them, and you can get them to assist you on pirate tests and on your quests ;) seems like a pointless idea to add to the game to be honest :S

For them to implement something like this when there are other means of accomplishing the same task, that aren't difficult by the way, would simply be a waste. I understand that it would make a difference in "the ease of things" but how big would that difference really be? Think about it for a minute and I'm sure you will see that Bobeck and myself aren't being mean, just pointing out the obvious.
lol bobeck these for help Coalation wars and pirate tests together..and that can be great one thing.better than you tought at the seafight nothing about coalations or alliances or for more easy pirate tests..If you have better idea here forum you can open new thread but dont tell my idea worse than urs :)

I like the idea of being able to party with any players, even players who aren't in your guild, there should be a maximum number per party, though. I believe it would be an excellent addition to this game and that the party chat would be an asset to all of us.
I would like to ask the ones who are against it, if they have ever played a game in which you could make parties? and if so, what was it that you didn't like about the function?
PARTY ON!!!

I really do like your idea, but you're taking what we're saying wrong. I've played games that allow you to create parties, and there was nothing I didn't like about it, in fact I'd love to see it in seafight. But like I said in a previous message, there are other ways of accomplishing the same goal. No one said your idea was bad, most people are just used to things the way they are. If BigPoint changed it to a party system, that means everyone else has to figure out how to use it. I play with a lot of people who have no clue what I'm talking about when I mention other games and their party ability, so I know there's got to be a lot of players out there that may not be so willing to see a change like this. Not to speak on anyone's behalf, but I think that's what most of us are trying to tell you, not everyone would be too excited about something they have to take time to learn, and once they've learned it, it didn't really make that big of a difference from how it was before. The difference that people would see in the simplicity of things would be minimal.

I think people would have more knowledge than you might realize about using the party function and I do believe that, after everyone started using it, everyone would enjoy the added benefit of being able to share exp with a party (if it was set up that way, it wouldn't have to be) as well as private chat with just those indivduals in the party. I for one, would like to be able to chat with some of the seasoned players, but I have no desire to join their guilds or I am not high enough on the totem pole to join, but it would be wonderful to gleen knowledge from them.
One negative thing I see about the party function, though, is the bully factor..sigh..it would make chain gangs worse, but that is something that occurs in every game and is something that works itself out soon enough.
As far as people not wanting change, it seems that people are more flexible than you think, just look at the most recent changes. Yes, there was some complaining, by me as well as others, but I guess we're all still here. Most people will adapt.
I'm not too sure you could set up a system for partying on a browser game, it could be pretty complicated and may cause crashes and bugs. Still, it would be worth looking into for an added benefit. Sounds good to me!! :)

But some smart ppl already trying find bugs always that wont be surprise if they will look about party system bugs... there is nothing can be bug..the time came up to update new features to sf same things not funny always :)
