I think that mates purchased with gold should have a cummulative effect on the ship repair speed. That being said, I think that there should be a cap at the repair rate of a single elite mate (i.e. 5000hp/min or 2min depending on premium status). My justification for that is it give a viable option to people who cannot afford the elite mate. If a player decides to get the maximum amount of repair from mates that are not elite it would still cost 1million gold with the best non-elite mates. I think that this would help alot of people who have trouble healing their ships. Just a thought.
