I checked and you are correct, I have passed this onto the team but not sure if anything can be done over the weekend.

I've certainly had axes from the Small Suburban Homes (2nd most frequent rent timer, on a 5 minute rent cycle) - they don't drop often, and they don't drop many, but they do drop - the frequency/amount is probably quite similar to what you get from a building on a 3-hour rent cycle, as you'd get 36 'collect rent clicks' at this level of building compared to one for a Vintage/Classic/Historic Duplex - if you spend all that time hovering over the game

You get axes from small houses on rare occasions; there is also one thing - from one to 3 you always pay 250 beams and 1000,2000,3000 round logs

I've also had some from Turnkey homes, not many, but they are dropping axes some of the time.

Thanks everyone I am waiting for some formal word from our dev team but i suspect this is just a small drop scenario as it appears from what you are all saying.

Hasn't that always been the case? Drops are only reliable on houses which take 1.30 hours for rent or longer. The rest may or may not drop.

At this rate, it's going to take 3 weeks to come close to the 1250 axes needed, and IIRC, there's more at the next stage.

Yeah, the sooner you can get better houses, the better. There's not many events without drop items, and it's always like that. The smallest houses drop very little. You may not complete this event, but start planning for future events.

It sounds like the task for axes is too hard for levels 8-14 considering the aweful rate of drops for the smaller houses.
