Make sure you have lots of workers. I'm only level 14, but I have 196 workers, 68 capitalists and 64 students. Workers are the key to keep production points up!

to receive productions points, you must have the following:
1. workers in your houses
2. need met - i.e. veg stand with tomatoes stocked, diner with potatoes stocked
3. the house with workers within the radius of that commercial building - i.e. veg stand, diner.

The amount of production points will decrease if you have a loss of mood as you will lose residence - keep mood high enough that your population stays at 100% (check this by hovering over the mood bar)

hope this helps.

Also, as mentioned in another thread somewhere, if you have run out of production points and veg so can't get more production points you need to keep collecting just rent until you can buy some veg on the market-place to feed your workers, etc. And then try not to do it again. Make sure that PP income is >= PP expenditure. Should be fine with tomatoes - but if you stop making tomatoes and just lumber/beams you'll run out of PP.

What is the numeric relation between tomatoes and production points?

I think a level 3 prefab home takes 4 tomatoes to make 16 production points in 2 minutes

I think a level 2 designer home takes 4 tomatoes to make 32 production points in 30 minutes

Is this the correct number of tomatoes?

Thanks

A bit of mistakes.

In fact you're talking about the rents.

Level-3 prefab home: 4 PP per 2 minutes
Level-2 designer home: 12 PP per 30 minutes

Anyway, houses requiring tomatoes always take 4 tomatoes.
