I like the new graphics of the login page, but not the placement of the registration, the login and other info around it. It is very ugly and covers the lovely new graphics.

I think the new page should follow the old page in this respect. The old page, you can actually SEE the middle of the picture.

1. I think the login should be more central and not tucked away almost out of site.

2. The Registration Panel should definitely NOT be in the middle of the screen. At the very least, it could be off to the side. I don't know why you want a huge, big ugly registration permanently on the landing page anyway. Why not just have a Registration link and when you click it, THEN the registration details come up.

3. Please fix the no horizontal scroll bar and no Back to Game when we get thrown out of Farmerama, which happens with all too regularity now.

Although I have no objections to the graphics of the new page (to me the sheep are trying to load the sack, not fighting over it), I personally liked the waving chicken, so I vote for the old page on graphics.

I do strongly dislike the new placements of the login, links, etc. on the new page. On the old page, these items were in a more logical place and did not create such a busy overwhelming presentation. Simple links to registration would have been better. In addition, I do not like that requirement to scroll down to see the entire page. The extraneous information at the bottom is unnecessary.

Daumen runter Oh Dear !

I much preferred the somewhat quirky old farmhouse design. The new graphics are far less individual in design and very garish. The registration/login positions etc are ugly and wrongly placed. If the design had to change why not retain the old farmhouse but revamp it a bit to blend with the style of graphics the game now uses - hence retaining a graphic that was instantly recognisable as 'Farmerama' and not just any old game ?

I like the bright graphics and cheerfulness of the new landing page, so much though that the game itself looks somewhat outdated now.

It would be so nice to have all of the graphics as large and colorful as the landing page.
It's a bit odd to" arrive" at the farm now, almost disappointing.

BP got themselves in a pickle. You know it is the same when you renovate a room. All of the sudden the rest of the house needs a "face lift" as well...

I like the new design better however I am having MUCH difficulty navigating since the screen is cut off on the left hand side and I am unable to click on the log back in button since an advertisement is covering the button.

I like the drawings on the new page, but NOT the layout.

There is TOO MUCH stuff on the new page and it doesn't fit in the browser window. One has to scroll down to read it all, which defeats the point of immediately getting someone's attention.
Also on the new page, if someone mistypes their log-in information, you get an error message, but no ability to re-enter the information or to easily go back to try and re-enter the information. There is no "back" button on the error page. One has to use computer buttons to go back and re-load the log-in page.
Finally, why is it being called a landing page? It is the home page, nay? Right on the page there is a button that says "home" and when you click it, you are looking at the home/landing page. So why confuse people by calling it a "landing page", but labeling it the "home" button.

Overall, I like the old page better.

As the pre-loading picture was so well received, a wallpaper version has been created for you.
Oh sure. I don't recall being consulted about the new pre-loading picture. I did choose to say in this thread that it was nowhere near as good as the old one. On the loading page, pre-loading page, etc., I agree with Jacquelinetalley #24 and dianajoyhowe #11. We do have to look at the pre-loading page for some while, as Farmerama l o a d s, and it's really rather painful to look at those ghastly "cute" bug-eyed animals in its foreground. Looking at the old loading page was rather pleasant.

Just to add re the new home page/loading page/whatever that it does seem less than fully functional. The horizontal scroll bar some players have called for is essential, I'd say/

Hi Karen and all farmers,

Quote from Karen...," I like the new graphics of the login page, but not the placement of the registration,..."

We may be confusing the Landing Page with Login Page here. The landing page is the one requiring registration for newbies right in center of page. The one this thread is for.

The login page will appear as the wallpaper does shown in MODS official announcements. Also the one we will see when we login from the toolbar. ( I think) The toolbar bypasses the landing page but we can still access it other ways.

Check it out to make sure we are all discussing landing page and not login page.

Now I'm confused

The (background) graphic on the landing page is great & like that we can see it all, as the "splash" page. But, the overlay buttons & ads look amateurish & remind me of internet style of the early 2000s.

Do not like the cartoon-like looking animals at all.

Functional problems could occur with the name/password of Registered players entered in the 'sign up' box (in the middle). Some players have already reported that's where they logged in. (Other sites where I'm registered, do not pre-fill in the boxes designed for only NEW players to sign up.)

Hoping the Logoff page will be finished soon!
