I had the biggest surprise just now. After clearing various caches - as instructed and taught by a moderator - I do it with a passion. Every time something goes wrong or does not work I clear caches. Went to my cow icon and there, in the workshop slot, was the much discussed egg farm. Well at last I can start constructing my textile factory. (How I wish I could type in capitals, because I really shouted). Thank you very much for all the help. Very much appreciated.
Worked out - trial and error - that I had to place it over the chicken coop. To obtain chickens - the ordinary, running ones. not those in their wrapping - am I advised to start a new coop? What about the rabbits? Do I have to have two lots - the poor ones that are to be eaten and sold to my customers and the angora producers? Thank you so much, you made my day. You are all stars. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Have just joined you in a quick snoopy dance over the happy news of the return of your errant egg pen.
![]() The thing to remember about your production pens is tha you have to feed animals as well as animal feed so how many animal pens you need to keep pace with your growing emipre will very much depend on how you play the game. If you have a look in the Animals and Product pen links in my signature, you will find the information on who needs what to keep happy, healthy and producing with great abandon. Can I help you further? |

What I had forgotten to mention, that I could not access the macromedia.com site for two days. Tried various tricks and got in. After clearing the cache the said farm appeared - most probably had tweeked itself into a tight corner and the macromedia.com application was able to dig it out.
Spent a happy hour reading your archive of all your hard work. Whoa!!!! In hindsight I should have left the future to itself .... what fantastic challanges, but the peek through the looking glass made me determined to get there as fast as possible. Why are there only 24 hours in the day??? I even get up during the night - soon I will be certified - to hurry the game on. What I actually want to know is if I must have a chicken coop , a bunny hutch etc. when I have the farm or sharing shed, or whatever goes with the creation of the ultimate product. What can I do to access the forum more easily? It takes many tries to get to you. Reminds me of the official instances and their favourite stance on the telephone ..... when not delivering a musical concert - "I'll put you through." Then one is in a limbo forever. Thanks for your "shoulder". |

The reason we always ask people to clear their browser and flash caches is that old data held there can sometimes conflict with the new causing various display issues.
I find it easier to have the link to the forum in my favourites list. Must admit I've never had a problem getting in from the ingame link so am not sure why it hangs. It is not strictly necessary to have the animal pens, you can always buy the feed and animals needed to feed the production pens, from the market. From your leap into the future you can plan your empire building. A word of warning in that some quests are timed and do need the coops and hutches etc. Again the quest link is in my signature if you've not already peeked. The world is your calm and the choice is yours as to how you want to farm. To quest or not to quest, that is the question. Can I help you further? |

Just to clear up a point - no criticism ment. You folks in the "First World" do not know or begin to fathom how life in the "Third World" is like. Broadband is still a dream - thus making eveything a tad different. Thanks for your understanding. I will come and bother you as soon as my grey matter cannot handle the situation. Thank you so much for your patience.
