Breeding is one of my favorite things in the game so I really loved the idea of breeding new animals with an alternative way of obtaining feed.
But, the event is too long and the required amounts are too much. Making people possible to finish event without doing any breeding, only buying/growing/using from stock chickens made the event pointless. In my opinion it would be much better if :

Growing the chickens was clearly easier here but I like breading so I did that. I kept track of my totals. The first half I did really well breeding with lots of skips so I only needed 2 soy bean crops a day to get the 4 monacles I needed per day.
The second half I had nearly no skips and very seriously considered chucking in the rest of the chickens to avoid growing more soy beans. But I finished yesterday so it wasn't too taxing. Admittedly I had more than enough chicken coups to grow the needed chickens had I gone that way. I had way more chickens than i needed to breed with 24 pens out and ended up selling a couple hundred a day for cash. Clearly, though, the way to do it was to grow and sell chickens last week when the price was insane and then grow and buy chickens this week with your profits. Down to 200 on my market today from the 350s last week. |

I liked this event for similar reasons as previously said by others but now I'm definitively bored... Why this event is so long ??? I think it would have been perfect if it has lasted one week with obviously adapted requirements.

I agree AuroreAW, however I am loving the extra days with the CAC PJ boost to bump up crop levels.

The Cloud Row should always be the LAST prize earned.
1) There is no point in earning it if you don't have all the EP givers to put onto it. 2) Making it last, encourages people to go that extra mile to try and earn it.

Found this event to be quite tedious for the do-it-yourself farmer (grow feed crops, grow chickens, breed event chickens), while too easy for the market mavens (buy chickens, convert to event hens, submit, done in 10 minutes).
I bred about 40 monocle cocks, finished with low end event chickens. Clicked myself into a stupor between the breeding and the chicken growing. For massive breeding events, please make us a button to add four of the same type in one click (not four), and please give us the option on the farm droid of using ONE pheromone per pen not four. I know the farm droid suggestion was made shortly after pheromones were added to the droid - it's been a while. This was my least favorite event to date, with about 20 months of playing Farmerama. |

Very interesting event. I also was glad we could grow the food to feed when breeding instead of having to use super feed. I have limited resources, so not having to buy the feed was a pleasant surprise. I opened up Bahamarama a couple days ago (YAY!), so I became side tracked with being able to do new quests, but I may get to finish! This will be a first for me as well. I enjoyed it.
