hi annie... i just sent you a neighbor request... i'm working on getting healthy... i am sooo sick of this.. found out i'm celiac so maybe cutting the gluten will help with a lot of my symptoms.. in researching celiac's, i found that a lot of my problems are symptoms of celiacs, so here's hoping that it really is cause i'd really like to be better!! i have changed my attitude though and THAT helps immensely! Thanks for your concern! It's GREAT to be back!!! missed you guys TONS and TONS

Hello all!

So... we took the kids to the fair yesterday... Well, that seems innocent enough I suppose. However, after having months and I mean months of no rain... yesterday made up for it big time. There were 2 major storms that hit while we were there. It was reported a tornado touched down about 15-20 minutes from the fairgrounds. Glad it wasn't any closer. The crazy lightening and hail was enough to deal with.

Kids had a great time though.

@pepsi so glad you FINALLY got some rain! we had a storm last night, i dont know about any tornadoes, but there was a firetruck. finally cooled it down but its hot again

@laughi~ Well, that's good news in a way if you are celiac ~ now at least you will be able to get your health on the right track! *hugs* My WW (weight-watcher) leader has been allergic to gluten for a long time... discovered it when she was tracking her food intake with WW She did bring in a peanut butter product (can get it at Target) called BetterN' Peanut Butter that is non-gluten peanut butter (and low points so great for WW) Not sure if that helps ya, but thought I'd share. Glad to see you are looking on the bright side!!

Hope the birthday blast at illy's moon party was great fun. I'm heading to a friend's party tonight. Her 3 and 5 year olds are sharing one and there will be a cookout, bonfire and fun things... I'll be heading to the store later this afternoon to pick out some little presents for them, but first I think I'd best mow the lawn (learned to weed whip today as hubby is still not healed up enough yet) Best be getting out there before it gets too hot!

We had a storm come through yesterday as well, had hail for the first part. Smaller stuff but we saw a few pieces that were golf-ball size. No bad damage here, thankfully, but we did get a lot of rain. =)

Will be flying out the first Wed in Aug (8th) to WY/CO, and so getting excited! We're staying for just over 2 weeks, and it's been a bit hectic around here trying to plan my time out there! Looks like we will pretty much drive straight to WY (after a day of napping lol) and hang out with family before returning to CO with my mom. We might even go tubing at a place in the mountains near were they have a cabin! We'll see how much time we have ~ seems we try to plan so much, and never have enough time to do it all lol!
