Böse Torture?

Is this some sort of ridiculous torture?
Seriously!

First - the menu can only be described as yet another ploy by BP to get us to use REAL money to just buy the harvester to get around all of the problems that the new menu presents! Do they really think we are stupid?

Second - While the one click watering is nice it is absolutely INFURIATING if you have a field full of mixed animals and you only want to water the production pens. Every time you hit one of those production pens you are automatically watering everything else you touch and I don't WANT to water chickens! So then I have to go up and click the red auto water button to turn it off so I can continue to take care of the animals I don't want watered.{sigh}

I just don't know how much more of this I can take! I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry.

Yeah what y'all said...absolutely LOVE the one-click watering, thank you, thank you, thank you...did I mention that I am a tad bit appreciative?!?! Yeah I am a very happy farmer right now, thanks. It will force me to change my routine on critter harvesting, having to water them all at once instead of one at a time, unless I want to constantly turn on/off the one-click watering, but IMHO a small price to pay to finally get the super watering feature we have been asking for for years! Now maybe you will give us the same thing with manure!

Also, thanks for the apparent change in the "done" icon placement. It is much easier to harvest now, especially the park EP harvesting, was a nightmare yesterday.

Still not a big fan of the super huge yellow pop-up window with the "done" icon on it, but a massive improvement from its initial introduction. It will get easier with practice, but thanks alot all in all!

still very unhappy. yeah one click water is good on crop feilds but not for animals. like someone previosly said they don't all get done at the same time and i dont water all of them. thumbs down. i'm trying to be patient while bp makes changes but this is very frustrating. dont think i will plant anything and gonna put everything in storage. maybe come back in a week and see if things are fixxed. there have been enough people comenting on this that bp should listen! I only saw a couple of good votes the rest bad. BP listen to your players!

Can I add - Why o why start a new feature like this that involves water for animals just when we are trying to finish a quest - it really messed things up for me and I couldn't finish the Russian quest - my chickens were all over the place!

Default Beta version

Overall I like it. On the harvested of animals I would like more separation between regular feed and the power feed. I don't even know how many times I spent 10 hrs making power feed to accidentally click on it to get a chicken in 45 mins. One thing I would like to see is. On the left side of the screen were you inventory and multitool tab is. You should put a separate tab for water, fertilizer, etc. So instead of just clicking on the square then clicking on manure than clicking on the next square to click on manure again. You can just click on the manure tab and then click on all of the square that you want to put manure on.

As said, Don't like the new water for the animals as I always do one pen at a time from start to finish. Now, I have to do them all except the watering then go back and do them all over again for the water.

Love it for the crops

The water "fix" appears to be kludge. Why does the auto feature not operate the same way as with sowing, where the player chooses when to use it? As others have said, having it on all the time means that I cannot feed then water each animal pen one at a time. If I have to check the pen to see if the feeding & watering actually "took", then whatever time I would have made up with the water function is wiped out by having to double-check.

As I stated in the Steam Room, with this menu change & the ongoing problems in the bank (the eradication of store-bought cards to pay for BBs), I will never spend another dime here & will probably convert my farm to animals only so I don't have to worry about weeds if I go more than a day without logging in. I doubt I will ever participate in events anymore, either, if I cannot easily change the configuration of my fields.

I've been playing this game faithfully for nearly a year & a half, but my enthusiasm is just sapped.

Default not impressed

A lot of room for improvement. Watering mode is good for crops though.

Feed for pens is now above left of the initial mouse position. The slight leftward motion required wastes so much time when harvesting in the intuitive way we all know; left-right. Was the program written in Arabic or something?

Why the *Huuuuuge* boring yellow popup with mini button/s? I want to see my farm, not a control panel.

Why the *Tiiiiny* buttons hiding so close together? With the no returns policy on 'mis-clicks' (as mods refer to them) this seems designed to trick peeps into wasting powerfeed etc. Low. Even if it does correct the poorly defined button click areas.

Water mode does confuse the system for animal pens, too. In a mixed field I now have to remember which pens I cleaned and fed and which not, unless i want to click them all. Couldn't I just turn it off and on if I wanted (as mentioned, like seeding) please? Also it doesn't tell me when the water runs out, causing further frustration.

In short, No thanks.

Unglücklich multi- watering / planting

Not a big fan of new lay-out. I multi-crop in my fields and it is very annoying to have to go to the top to shut each seed off then have to go back to field to switch seed. Why can i not just say click on an already planted plot and thereby shut it off? Same thing with the watering. I like the multi water option, but it's annoying when I forget to click on the top and the can't do anything until I do... why can't it just automatically shut off if it isn't applicable? For example, if you try to build a shed over another, the shed just disappears,so if you water your cow and then go to harvest a horse the water would just stop, now you have to go up top to shut it off. It's just annoying and a waste of time.
