![]() I just got this notification in Chrome. What does this mean, and what about people with other browsers that don't catch it? Why is Bigpoint trying to collect private information about it's players?

This has nothing to do with BigPoint and is entirely from Google Chrome - we understand it is a default message.
We can assure you that BP does not collect data on any website you visit, nor access any data on your computer. You may wish to contact Google to request why this message is being transmitted. Can we give you any other assistance. |

I do not doubt that it is an automatic message from Chrome, but obviously it is being displayed because the BP toolbar is trying to access information. To say it has nothing to do with BP is ridiculous.
For now I will give BP the benefit of the doubt and assume someone accidentally changed something that caused the toolbar to do this, but I refuse to reactivate the toolbar until this issue is resolved and would advise other players to do the same, or disable your toolbar if you have not already. I don't see why BP needs access to any site I visit outside of BP games, and especially they do not need access to the rest of the data on my computer. I suppose I'll take this to support and see if they can fix it, so you may close the thread.

Closing thread as OP contacting Support.
We would re-iterate that this message is incorrect and BP do not collect information from either your computer or sites you visit. |
