New features
Where can I find info about some new things in the game, like the 'bonus slots' and level up rewards etc.
Have been otherwise v busy so they kinda went under my radar... Is it to do with the new crafting? Thanks.

The bonus slots are to do with the crafts, yes.
More information can be found in the Artisan Village FAQ Not sure what you mean with leveling up rewards. The rewards for leveling up on the farm hasn't changed in a long time. Can you please explain a little more ?
