What would you say to having a flying pet on your farm?
A pet that flies around for a few minutes then goes back to it's base?
A pet that doesn't need to be fed, and that gives you bonus' over and over again ?

The first pet will be the owl

* Where can I get my pet Owl?

To get a Pet Owl, you must first buy an Owl Egg in the Supply Store "Decorations: Nice to Have".

Gives +10% EP for 10 minutes, every 30 minutes
price per Owl Egg: 150 BB

* How many Owl Eggs can I buy?

You can buy as many as you want to, but can only place 5 maximum on your various lands (Main farm, Green Meadow, Park, Glade, Island).

Once you have bought it: then you place it on the land of your choice.

* How long will it take to hatch?

Normally, it will take 7 days for the Owl Egg to hatch.

* Can I shorten the incubation time?

Yes!
You can speed up the process by buying a Egg Warmer in the Supply Store. With the Egg Warmer, the incubation time will be reduced to just one hour!

The egg-warmer doesn't show in your barn or inventory at this moment. The only place to see it is when you click on an incubating egg.

* What happens when the egg is ready to hatch?

Once the timer is finished, you'll see the Owl still covered in Egg Shell.

When you harvest it, you'll receive 350 EPs (one-time EP bonus)

When you click on it again, it will give you a +10% EP bonus for 10 minutes on your whole farm, and the Owl will fly around your farm for a few minutes:

notice how the name changes from Owl's Egg -> Owl Tree

* Is that all it does? Only 350 EP, and +10% bonus for 10 minutes??

No!
After a few minutes, the Owl will return to it's base.
After a certain cooling-time (30 minutes), it's ready again, over and over again to give you 10-minute +10% EP bonus (per Owl harvested)!

So, if you have 5 owls, you could have +50% EP bonus for 10 minutes, every 30 minutes for the rest of your Farming-life!

Owl Pet Reminder:

• One Owl per field (maximum 5 can be placed)
• The Owl gives: 10% more EP for 10 minutes (per owl) and increases by +10% for each further owl placed on your various farm and island lands
• its effects are global - on all lands - and they stack
• Available for all players level 2+
• The Harvester (Machinery) does NOT pick up the bonus

When other Pets are added, we'll add them below.

At the moment, we will have only 'flying pets'.

As the Harvester (machinery) does not pick up the Owl Tree bonus, don't forget to harvest the Owl Tree manually before harvesting your farms

Also: at this moment, the egg-warmers do not show up in your barn, nor your inventory.
You'll only see if you have one, by clicking on the incubating Owl Egg itself, and see if you can see the red Egg Warmer icon.

Flying Dragon Pet

It can only be exchanged for Game Chips during the Renzo Travelling Fair Mini-Event, you'll find it in your inventory:

You can only have ONE Dragon Egg/Pet from Renzo's Fair

Dragon Egg placed on your farm:

Time of incubation: 168 hours
Can also be shortened to just: 1 hour (see Egg Warmer explanation in 1st post)

When the Dragon is "ready to hatch":

Dragon egg transforms into Pet Dragon, and gives 20% EP for your whole farm, for 20 minutes.



Time between harvests: 10 hours
Size: 1x2

The Crow



Once you have bought the Crow Egg (45 BB in the Supply Store),
you'll find it in your inventory, on the "vase" icon.



The incubation time is 168 hours.
Which can be reduced to 1 hour if you add an Egg Warmer (39 BB in Supply Store), see above post#1.

Once ready to hatch:


And when you harvest it:

you'll get a 250 EP hatching bonus,
and the crow effects are:
5% EP bonus for 15 minutes
with a cool-down timer set to 12 hours.

You can buy as many as you want to, but can only place 5 maximum on your various lands (Main farm, Green Meadow, Park, Glade, Island). You cannot place more than 1 of the same pet on a field.

Flying Reindeer

This was a prize on the Christmas 2011 Event.
It is also possible to get it with special bank offers similar to this one:

Once placed on your farm, the "reindeer house",
the reindeer will hatch from a purple Christmas Ball:


The incubation time is 168 hours.
Which can be reduced to 1 hour if you add an Egg Warmer (39 BB in Supply Store), see above post#1.

Once ready to "hatch":


Each time it's "ready":


you'll get a 450 EP hatching bonus,
and the reindeer effects are:
one star
with a cool-down timer set to 7 days.

You can have a maximum of one of the same pet per field.

The Flying Chicken



You'll find it in the Shopping Center,
under "Decorations" then select the "Nice to Have" sub-tab.

It costs 99 BB

Once you've bought it, you'll find it in your Inventory tab "vase tab"



You can then place it on an empty 1x1 square



The initial 'hatching time' is 168 hours.
If you would like to reduce this initial time to just one hour, you can buy an *Egg Warmer* in the Shopping Center ("Decorations" - "nice to have")
see post #1 above
You'll then find the Egg-Warmer showing like a wooly hat when you click on your Egg.
reminder: the Egg-Warmer only works for unhatched Eggs!

When the inital 'hatching time' is finished, your Egg will hatch:



You can click on it, and get a one-time hatching bonus of 500 EP.

Then, you can click on it again to get your
'regular bonus' of 350 EP + 1 toolbox (10 tools).

This 'regular bonus' can be harvested every 12 hours.

You can buy as many as you want to, but can only place 5 maximum on your various lands (Main farm, Green Meadow, Park, Glade, Island). You cannot place more than 1 of the same pet on a field.

New Pet: Rainbow Hen Pet



This Pet Egg can only be won during Renzo's Travelling Fair Mini-Events.
If it becomes available by other means at a later date, we'll update this FAQ

Once you've exchanged 850 chips to get this item, you can place it on a 1x1 square.



Once the Egg is ready to hatch, you'll get a one-time hatching bonus of 450 EP.

Once hatched, it will be called a "chicken coop for rainbow hen"
Then you can click on the Rainbow Hen Pet to get your "effect" :
300 EP and 1 unit of Suzi Super Grow.
(At this moment, placed on the Island will give 300 Bahamarama EPs)

You can harvest the Rainbow Hen pet every 16 hours.

You can buy as many as you want to, but can only place 5 maximum on your various lands (Main farm, Green Meadow, Park, Glade, Island). You cannot place more than 1 of the same pet on a field.

The Propellor Rabbit

This pet can be won as a prize on the Easter Event 2012.

Once you've won it, you can place one pet per field,
it will look like this:


After the hatching time of 168 hours (or 1 hour if you use an egg-warmer) your Easter Egg will hatch, and will look like this:



When you click on it, it will give you a one time hatching bonus of 450 EP.

Your Regular bonus will be every 16 hours

(If you don't have the required level to see honey, it will sit waiting in our barn inventory until you reach the required level).

The Crazy Chicken pet



The Crazy Chicken Pet is a 'special pet' can be 'rented' through the City Bank.
There will be a pop-up window that will take you straight to the correct area.

Once you've bought it (see below),

you'll see this icon in your Inventory:



You can then place it on your field.
ONLY 1 Crazy Chicken Pet per account (see below)

The incubation time is 1 hour.
You can NOT use an egg-warmer to reduce this time further.

Once the incubation time is over,
When you click on it,
you'll get a "hatching bonus" of 500 EP



Then, as soon as it's "ready" every 16 hours,
you'll get its regular bonus "effect":

300 EP (this will stay, even after your subscription ends)
&
Every Rent-a-friend (assuming that you have one) will send you 2 gifts per day instead of 1!

Special CrazyChicken Pet Subscription Options:

• Subscription 1: 1 month
  • costs 10 Euros (or equivalent in your currency)
  • + Effect for 1 month
• Subscription 2: 3 month
  • costs 27 Euros (or equivalent in your currency)
  • + Effect for 3 months
• Subscription 3: 6 months
  • costs 50 euros (or equivalent in your currency)
  • + Effect for 6 months

The Effects can be extended once they have run out, by buying this offer again. You will however, not receive another CrazyChicken Pet, but the current one will get its effect (buff) back.

The offer was available through an in-game layer and by clicking on the Pigeon offer ticker on the News Page. The offer expired on September 19th 2012



The initial hatching bonus: 250 EP

Only one pigeon per field is possible.
