I don't understand. Did I read it right on an earlier post that you have to wait for MM to buy the option to breed. I have 2 bat roosts with plenty of bats and was wondering why they didn't show up in the breeding pen menu with the other animals.

That is correct, you need to unlock bat breeding in Jack's Shop during a Moonlight Mania.

lol... only one more question, I just came back to the game after a long seperation from my beloved internet it seems I just missed an MM... do you know when the next one will be (or close to it)? I would really like to start breeding.

We do not yet know when the next MM will be, but you can bet it will be somwhere around the next full moon...
