Soccer Event: Part 1


Starts: June 8th 2012
Finishes: June 13th 2012
(check the OA for precise times as soon as they are known)

The Looney Tunes need to get in shape for the upcoming soccergame. Bugs is ropejumping, Wile E. is the coach doing tactics, Tweety is the striker, Sylvester the goalkeeper and Road Runner the sprinter. Daffy is not playing within the Looney Tunes team and tries to manipulate the game later on.

note: Due to legal restrictions, players in certain countries will not see the Warner Bros characters, but will have other animals created especially for them.

* What is special about this event?

• There will be drop items : Jerseys

* Can I buy some extra Jerseys?

Yes, on the donation window, or directly in the Shopping Center
If you buy them via the donation window, they will all be at the price of 1 item.
You'll also be able to buy some 'cheaper' in bulk quantities in the Shopping Center (see below)
You can also gift them to/from neighbours/buddies

• From Level 5+ you can send 5 free gifts per day (or 7 if you've opened the SkillTree rune). After that, each Jersey sent will cost you 2 BBs
• up to 20 gifts can be received per day.

• There will be a special event crop

Sorghum/Millet

from Level 3+
on all lands (including Bahamarama Lvl 3+ too)
Growing time: 3.5 hours
EP (2x2): 32

Each player should receive 10 seeds.
You can plant them on your farm, meadow and glade!
Can also be grown on Bahamarama Island from level 3
If you donate all your seeds and drop to zero, you'll need to wait for the automatic replenishment, which occurs every 4 hours to get up to 5 free seeds...

* How can I access this Event?

From level 3+ you can access this Event from the Event place in the City:

You'll then see this quest layout:

* What are the different parts of this Quest pop-up?

There are 5 rooms, each represented by an animal that looks sad. To make them happy, you need to donate some items (by clicking the large + button).
At the top, you can see your stock of Jerseys.

* How do I donate items?

Click on the large blue + icon.
This will open up a "Deposit" pop-up, where you can choose which items you wish to deposit.

If you don't have enough items to complete that step, it's preferable NOT to partially donate items, as they are non-refundable!

* Can I pay my way through the quest with BBs?

Yes, on any of the rooms, there is a small gold-chest icon, that will allow you to pay for that particular type of item that you have selected.

* Can I buy Jerseys?

Yes,
It's even cheaper to buy bulk quantities in the Shopping Center:

• 1 Jersey - 2 BB
• 50 Jerseys - 85 BB (15% off)
• 100 Jerseys - 150 BB (25% off)
• 150 Jerseys - 200 BB (33% off)

* Will there be a Starter-Basket

Yes! There will even be a small one and a large one on the NewsPage, and in the Shopping Center(?)!

* What are the Quest requirements and Prizes?

WARNING
This last prize, the Soccer-Event row of clouds is a bit "special"
It is a "themed" row of clouds,
however,
3 out of 5 clouds (and items) can be won on Soccer Event part 1
the 2 remaining clouds (and items) can be won on Soccer Event part 2

So, it's really for the most ambitious players amongst you to go for this "partial row of clouds" and hope to get the "rest" on part 3...

If you're missing one single item of the total 5, you can't activate the cloud-bonus.
If you win the 5 items, but not the 2 "parts" of clouds, you can't activate the cloud bonus.

* Will there be any Event "specials"?

Yes. 
For each Rent-a-Looney-friend that is 'rented' during the Event, you will receive 5 "extra" Jerseys as BONUS (and of course: the usual other daily gifts that come from these rented friends. (see {FAQ} Rent-a-Looney-Tunes-Friend)
This is equal to a 10BB bonus-gift (5 Jerseys x 2 BB each) !

* Will the Special Event Crop stay in the game after the Event?

Yes.
Sorghum/Millet will be a mainland-level 4 crop.
If you don't have that level in the game, your stock of seeds will be waiting for you when you reach that game level...

* Will leftover drop items be exchanged after the end of the event?

• Each Jersey will be exchanged for 10 EP + 10 CC the day after the Event.

Socceritis part 2

* What is special about this Event?

• There will be 2 event crops: Bamboo and MeadowGrass
  
  
  Bamboo
  
  Grow time: 4h
  EP (2x2): 36
  Plantable on all lands from level 3+ (including Bahamarama)

  Grow time: 1 h
  EP (2x2): 14
  Plantable on all lands from level 3+ (including Bahamarama)

  Each player will get 10 seeds of Meadow grass and 10 seeds of bamboo at the beginning of the event.
  If you have less than 5 event seeds, the automatic replenishment will book up to 5 every 5 hours roughly.

• There will be a drop item: Compost

Compost can be used to reduce crop growing time by 10%
You can add it manually, after having planted your seeds, by clicking the icon on the left:

You can also add it 'automatically' on the FREE harvester function:

This will add Compost to ALL your growing crops simultaneously, as long as you have enough compost.

* How can I get some more compost?

• You can send/receive some from neighbours / buddies.
  • From level 5+ you can send 5 (or 7 if you have unlocked the rune) free gifts to your neighbours.
  • Extra Compost gifts can not be paid for with BBs
  • You can receive up to 20 gifts per day
• You can buy some in the Shopping Center
  • • 5 "compost" - 1 BB
  • • 25 "compost" - 4 BB (20% off)
  • • 100 "compost" - 15 BB (25% off)
  • • 200 "compost" - 27 BB (33% off)

* How can I access this Event?

From level 3+ you can enter the Farmer's Society building:

where you'll see a new quest: Socceritis

When you select that quest, you'll see this layout

• There are 5 steps.
• Each step has 3 difficulties: Silver, Gold and Diamond.

You'll notice also that this is a series of TIMED-Quests

Reminder for Timed Quests:

• This means that EACH challenge is individually timed.
• You can not activate 2 challenges simultaneously.
• You can not donate items from your barn!
• You must grow the required items in the imparted time!
• ALL quest items which you harvest whilst a timed-quest is on will go straight into the quest!

* How can I start a timed quest?

1. Firstly, grow a field full of the required items
2. Then go to Farmer's Society to start the Timer, by clicking on this icon:
3. Then go back to your land to harvest your items. They will go straight into the Quest - NOT into your barn!
4. This icon (at the top-right corner of the quest window, will show you a brief tutorial about Timed-Quests.
   Once "started" you'll see a scroll open/closed icon which shows you what is left to donate to the actual challenge:

* What are the required items and rewards for this Quest?

This picture shows that items contributed to silver or gold also count for the diamond.
The next difficulty just needs "topping up".

* What happens if I don't manage to complete the quest in the imparted time?

You will get your items returned to your inventory

* How can I stop/cancel a timed Challenge?

By clicking on this icon:

you'll be able to prematurely STOP / CANCEL the timed quest.
* Will I get my items back?

Yes. All your items will return to your inventory

* Which recommendations can you give us?

• It is VERY STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you keep a few of each type of event crops in your inventory! Because timed quests take ALL your harvest of Event items !!!
• Grow lots of Event Crops BEFORE actually starting the timed quests, so that you have enough seeds to continue.
• Or... if you have planted + harvested ALL your crops during a timed event, and have none left, another solution would be to "cancel" the Challenge (to get the items back into your inventory).
  You could then have plenty in stock so as never to drop to zero when the Timed Quest is on

* Will there be any Event Baskets?

Yes, there will be an event basket on offer on the News Page

* Can I pay with BBs?

Yes,
hover your cursor over the gold chest on the right to see how many BBs it will cost to complete this challenge.

You will be asked to confirm/validate the purchase on a pop-up.

* Can I re-set / re-start the Event?

Yes,
By clicking on this button:

you'll be asked to validate if you agree to pay 30 BBs to go back to step 1: silver challenge.

* Will there be any other special offers during this part of the Event?

Yes, There will be a Looney Tunes rent-a-Looney-friend offer:
• Every Looney bought during this event will grant the player, in addition to all the other benefits, 25 compost (dropitems). This is one time bonus (and NOT a daily gift)
• This bonus is not affected by Tweety

* Will the 2 Event crops stay in the game after the Event?

Yes...

• Bamboo, will be a Bahamarama level 10 crop (roughly 4h20 crop)
  
• Meadow Grass will be a Bahamarama level 11 crop (roughly 4h40 crop)

* Will remaining Drop items be exchanged after the Event?

* What is special about this Event?

• There will be a special Event Crop: Peanuts

Time: 5 h
Level: 2
EP (2x2) : 40
Plantable on all your lands

• You'll get 10 seeds at the start of the Event.
• They can not be bought/sold.
• If you drop below 5 seeds, you'll need to wait for the automatic replenishment roughly every 6 hours.

• There will be a special Drop Item: Sports Drinks

You will need to donate these Sports Drinks to the Quests.

* How can I get more Sports Drinks items?

They can

• be gifted to/from neighbours / friends.
  From level 5+ you can gift up to 5 (or 7 if you have opened the skilltree rune) free gifts, then they will cost 2 BB each.
• They can be bought in the Shopping Center under "seasonal items" or follow the "buy" icon on the Event Window.
  • 1 "Sports Drinks" - 2 BB
  • 50 "Sports Drinks" - 85 BB (15% off)
  • 100 "Sports Drinks" - 150 BB (25% off)
  • 150 "Sports Drinks" - 200 BB (33% off)

• You will need some "Fans" to fill the Stadium.

You will need to donate these "Fans" to the Quests

* How can I get some "Fans" ?

There will be some Fan-Giving items called "Cheering Fans" and "Group of Fans"

* Fan-Giving Items?? What does that mean?

There will be 2 types of items that give Fans, that, when "ready" will give a certain amount of Fans when harvested. Then they will vanish (similarly to the previous Catalpa Trees ??)

* How can I get these Fan-Giving items?

• There will be a bonus-code to receive your first "Fan-Giving items"
  This Bonus-Code will be communicated via the Official Announcements as soon as possible, and will need to be entered onto the News Page.
• There will also be "special Fan-Giving items" in the Shopping Center

* How much do they cost, and how many fans do they give?
For sale in the Shopping Center ONLY
[The "Cheering Fans":

• It costs 200 CC
• Time: 4 hours
• gives: 3 Fans when 'harvested'
• (then vanishes)
  each CC fan costs ~66.66 CCs

The "Group of Fans":

• It costs 5 BB
• Time: 4 hours
• gives: 10 Fans when 'harvested'
• (then vanishes)
  each BB fan costs 0.5 BB

* What do these items look like?

Once placed on your farm (main farm, meadow, glade + island), they look like this:

"Cheering Fans" and "Group of Fans"

Then, when they're "ready" after 4 hours, you harvest them, to receive your 'fans', then the item will vanish. leaving you space to plant the next ones.

* How can I access this Event?

From Level 2+ you can access the Event either by clicking the Event Timer, then selecting the Socceritis Timer, or by clicking on the Event Place

Once you've clicked, you'll see this Event Window appear:[/indent]

On this event window you'll notice:

• At the bottom: A global Quest bar
• At the top left: an Individual Quest with 3 difficulties (Silver, Gold, Diamond)
  
  Note: You have to choose to which part you wish to donate too. So read carefully what follows!

1. The Global Team Quest:

   If you donate items directly into the Global part, you'll get credited according to this rule:

   • 40 EP for each 100 peanuts
   • 10 EP for each 2 fans
   • 10 EP for each 1 Sports Drinks

   Upon completing the Global Team Part, each player can receive the Final Prize thanks to a Bonus-Code which will be announced when the Global Team Part is completed.
   
   The Global Team part will be completed when this amount of Global Team Donations have been reached:

   • 4.500.000.000 Peanuts
   • 1.500.000.000 Fans
   • 400.000.000 Sports Drinks

   
   Here are the contents of the Final Prize which you'll get once you've entered the Bonus-Code on your news page, after this part is completed.

   • 500 EP x Your Level
   • 24 hours full use of Harvester
   • 5 stars
   • & the Champion's Trophy:

   Graphical & Audio effects during the Event:
   The Event Window will have 5 rotating pictures throughout the Event.
   At the end of step 2 and step 4 of the Global part, there will be a different "sound" on the Event Window, progressively hearing more and more cheering and euphoria of the fans and athletes...

2. The Individual Quest

   Every time you complete a "challenge" you will get some rewards (see below).

Note:
Every time you donate items to the individual Quest, the counter will also move on the Global part, but you'll only get rewards for the Individual part when you complete each Challenge.

Therefore: If you're not sure to be able to complete a particular Individual Challenge,
it's preferable not to 'partially' donate,
as these donations are non-refundable !

* What are the requirements and the rewards for the Individual Quest?

Each part is an individual Quest.

* How can I donate items?

• This bonus is not affected by Tweety

* Will Peanuts stay in the game after the Event?

Yes.
It will be a Bahamarama Level 13 crop.
If you don't yet have that level after the Event, your stock of seeds will be waiting there for you when you get to that level.

* Will remaining Event Items be exchanged after the Event?

Yes.
• Each "Sports Drinks" will be exchanged for 5 EP + 5 CC after the event.
• Each "fan" will be exchanged for 2 EP + 2 CC after the event.
• Each "cheering fans" will be exchanged for 5 EP + 5 CC after the event.
• Each "group of fans" will be exchanged for 20 EP + 20 CC after the event.

* What about the Row of Clouds that we started in part 1?

The 2 last prizes can be won on part 3 as was announced.
You don't need to "pay" for extension of the row of clouds, just need to win the prize-items to place on the clouds: the 2x2 item, and the Trophy.
