Hi, Ajjg1966

I understand what you are saying but i used to have my crop trophy 14% in my main farm (Main field) and my animal trophy 11% in the green meadow. so i use to get the benifits in those fields i never moved my trophys from field to field like some people do. so i only got the effects on 2 fields 1 trophy on each.

So when i opened the living legend rune which works across your whole farm, so an increase of 2 more fields plus both % on all fields there should be a noticeable increase

Before living legend:
11% on 1 field
14% on 1 field

After opening Living Legend:
25% on 4 fields

So in less i got the idea of the living legend rune wrong there should be a difference after opening the rune for sugar salt etc

I'm under the impression the trophies don't affect the salt/ sugar /event drops.

From the FAQ section:

Living Legend

Your trophies will give more drops on all lands! Trade in your Country Fair Trophy + your Farming Trophy.

Country Fair Trophy

Each upgrade placed on the Trophy will increase your chances of finding additional tools and other items that rise from the fields (i.e. crafting supplies and special event items) when harvesting your crops, animals and trees.

The same would hold true for the other trophy so I didn't bother looking it up.

I have seen 1x1 plots increase the odds of event items however like many players I have seen a drastic reduction in craft drops when using them. If no event is running using 1x2 or 2x2 will give you better craft drops. But I agree that what your planting will effect all drops.

I have seen posts before that have said that they saw no increase in drops after unlocking the legend rune. I personally see no benefit in spending 300 stars just to save myself the small trouble of moving trophies.

Well I didn't see anything that mentioned items other then tools in the FAQ on a Howie.

You have about 3% chance to get him- it increases the drop chance to resources (tools) by 5% in the field he is placed!

But there was one difference I did see on it and the trophies
It gives a percentage. There is none for the rune. There is a possibility that it's just hype. If you check out the write up on pumpkin pastry at the supply store, the description is so long that it fails to list one very important factor. The extra 20% ep it gives is for pumpkins only .

It has been bashed around back and forth with Howie donut as well, and am sure they said all the trophies do as well as the turtle is increase tool drops. I was one that did not move trophies around, and since opening the rune, have not noticed much change.
I wish I had kept the trophies as they were so pretty, and the stars......
Oh well .....

It is all in the wording "random drops", meaning what you get for one harvest of corn, will not be the same as what you get for the second harvest of corn.

There is no Point Putting a Howie Donut on the Island as you do not get Tool Drops on the Island...Only Glade,meadow and Main Fields.

With the Living Legend you will more likely to see an increase in Tool Drops, rather than Sugar, Salt and Event Items...

However, If you harvest Crops that is Over Due or Well Over due for Harvesting on Any field...If you notice there is increase in Tool drops.

I have notice that on the Magical Glade, The Harvest Crops gives you more tools drop than the Meadow and Main Field, Weather the Tool Drop Formula using buffs is related that you get more EP on the Magical Glade.

I do not hardly grow Tree, except for Milk and Egg Trees As tree Takes 20 Hours to grow on 1x1 Field. I am Crop Farmer...In those 20 Hours I can grow serveral crops of upto 6 hours.

EG Growing Pumpkins of 6 hours using water gives you less than 5 hours using a 1x1 field I can grow is four times compare to growing a tree on 1x1 Field.

I can Grow more if I am using Manure and Super Grow in those 20 hours. Therefore more likely to get Increase in Tool drops....This Way you are making best use of 10% Tool drop increase rune and Living legend Rune (Per Crop Harvested)

If you are a baker Farmer Level 2 upwards you will need. lots of Eggs and Cow Milk as you can produce more using Egg Milk trees than using a 2x2 Production pen of Egg Farm and Cow Milk. If you use Suzy Super Grow on these two trees you can double the output which Beats and Pink Production Pens output Twice Over.

Using these trees instead of Production Pens and using Living legend you save 2 1x1 field on each Island,Glade,Meadow and Main Field, Giving you Two Addional 2x2 fields in Total.

There you will get more tool drops when harvesting than moving Trophies Around using Living legend I know is alot of Stars 300 of them but in the last few events have been asking for lots of Tools....120,000cc worth so far this year.....

There is also Three New Crafts on it way...mostly like going to be asking tools to build a Craft Shop just like the baker and confectionary..... Every Little Bit Counts !!!!!!

yes... i have noticed that i get nearly no craft drops from my 1x1s, but loads and loads on factories and animals (mainly factories), and my animal trophee is on 9%, my crop one on 13%. so do the crop trophies increase the drop chance for crafts???

Yes we do. I have no idea where you got the idea we didn't get tool drops here. I don't get the same as on the main fields but I do get them.

What are you basing this assumption on? At this point we don't have any real proof that it does increase any drops. BP has never actually said that it does. As Hagatha pointed out there is no mention of a percentage as all other items that increase drops due. I think she might be right that it was just hype to attract buyers.

All of this is determined on what your growing and if you prefer to stay glued to the market to keep buying and selling to keep up with the demands of events and FS contests. As you know many players just don't want to do it that way. They prefer to grow/produce their own items. You get better overall EP and for many it's more satisfying to do it themselves. If you prefer your method that's fine but keep in mind that it does have lots of limitations.

Hi Izzie I been told by mods you cant get Toolbox tools Drop on the island, only sugar, salt and Event Drop items. That what I meant. That why i said no point putting howie donut on the island.

I just saying with my method, no body has to do it my way, as they have thier own methods.
With My Findings based on Crop Farming,You more likely to get more Tools with My Method.

I am talking about ways of maximisng Tool Drops not Maximisng EP. This is a Suggestion thread as it mearly Suggesting What I said earlier.
