yes having thought about it I think that a couple of timed quests would de nice, but with better rewards,
and as someone mentioned above, maybe a pet or recipe![]()

I am playing less and less.....Rama I do not want stress with quests and having to think about timed quests in events... NO Thank you, find myself playing less and spending less. The rewards are less too and the POP-UPS OMG enough already.......
![]() PS PUT my trees out in all fields...might look in but might not...too many changes that spoil the game...sorry neighbors!!!

Like some others I'm not doing any of part 2. Haven't got the time really for all timed quests, although if rewards were better I might have done some. I'm enjoying the free compost and seeder!

I completed all the silver levels but like others I do not have real life time to begin tackling the gold and diamond levels.
Timed quests in any event is a very bad idea. No more please unless they are very easy to complete - say, 1 hour for each level over 2 weeks would may be achieveable for everyone. |

I have quite enjoyed the challenge as I love timed events in the Farmers Society. I need the stars which is just as well as the prizes are really disappointing which is a common theme here, just not very generous at all! I haven't done all the challenges as they take time to set up and do and RL gets in the way at the weekends! I do appreciate that this is a different type of challenge which is a refreshing change and with different items to grow so it is less boring than growing one crop for days on end. So, all in all, a good event but too much to grow for very stingy rewards!

I would love to see new Farmer's Society quests in this logic in the future. And this quest chain would have been a great Farmer's Society quest chain, instead of an event in my opinion.
But for an event 15 timed quests, 10 asking for animals was a bit too much for my taste. I think the timers were ok for crop amounts asked in each challenge but, and a big but: I did not like the fact that both level 4 & 5 gold and diamond quest given time was a bit absurd. It was not enough time to do those quests without outer help, only with animal pen + water in 2 batches. It required: .......-Either to buy all animal pens enough to grow all of them before starting timer (Which is 20 pens of ducks and 20 pens of turkeys at least), so not starter-mid level player friendly .......-Or split in 2 but use power - feed on second batch animals that are growing after timer started .......-Or level 4 gold, level 4 diamond, level 5 diamond challenges are only possible in 2 batches if the player has easter cloud row active + stable master rune open at the same time if they do not want to use power feed and cannot buy 20 pens. And there is no artisan product that gives 10% time reduce, they are all only 5% (and even if there was a product, it would probably be more expensive than 20 animal pens' cost) That is a lot of things for a player to "have to" have in order to finish these 4 challenges in 2 batches if they cannot afford to buy 20 duck + turkey pens I am also sort of disappointed with the rewards for this much effort. PJ was a nice touch, but level 4 was too hard for many players. I did not have problem with animals, because I luckily had finished Noah's Ark challenge up to sheep level so I was having all the pens to put them altogether. But for further events, I will like many other farmers stated, prefer to see only some challenges of the event to be timed, not all of them. And I would prefer the times given to be more logical, so one does not have to have a 20% animal stables time reduce effect to be able to finish them in 2 batches. (For anyone interested in details : Ducks : Level 4 gold : 300 minutes given time, Duck pens with water is 6h24 = 384 minutes, so needs 84 extra minutes to grow animals in 2 batches Level 4 diamond : 320 minutes given time, needs 64 extra minutes to grow in 2 batches Having one of stable master rune or easter cloud row will only reduce 48 extra minutes from duck pens, so neither gold nor diamond challenge is possible to split to 2 even if one does not have both stable master rune open and easter cloud row active (gold is very tight even with both of those, only 12 spare minutes not to miss timer end) Turkeys : Level 5 gold : 420 minutes given time, Turkey pens with water is 7h12 = 432 minutes, so needs 12 extra minutes to grow animals in 2 batches Level 5 diamond : 360 minutes given time, needs 72 extra minutes to grow in 2 batches Having one of stable master rune or easter cloud row will only reduce 54 extra minutes from turkey pens, so gold is doable with having either the rune or the cloud row, but diamond challenge is not possible to split to 2 without having both the rune and the cloud row)

Thanks BP
I enjoyed this part of the event. I didn't find it too demanding and 30 shiny stars are always a good reward as well as the pj. It reminded me of the restaurant challenge when I was new to the game ( without the rain destroying my crops ) It was nice to do a bit of strategic planning for a change, rather than constantly harvesting the same crop over and over. Well done, and I'd like to see a few more like this ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have enjoyed the planning involved in the timed events. I am not able to complete everything so will just go for what I want most. This is better than just planting and gathering crops, it takes a bit of thinking ahead to finish and that has been refreshing.

I do not mind the timed challenges. but i would rather see them as a new quest that we can do when we have time to do them, instead of a limited time to do them all. With work and school , i am betting most will not finish or even try. on this one. but i am looking forward to part 3 and what it holds.
P.S. Thanks for trying something new. ,i applaud the effort. |

I completed 3 out of 5 Quests in this Event and the silver of the last 2
Didnt have enough animals to complete these in the amount of time and for the rewards given, wasnt prepared to buy more to complete it Not the best Event i have ever played I saw Farmerama when i joined as something to relax with and have fun, which it was to start with... but it isn't any more, with back to back Events giving us NO time to replenish what we have used We have to take everything off the fields to play them, they have become a chore Each event becomes more and more difficult and boring...i used to look forward to events, but i don't any more Farmerama used to be a farm game, but is anything but these days NOW we have spiders /snakes/ bears/ coloured animals/ disney characters/ beanstalk ? i live in a farming community, when i look out of my window ...i see none of these ? Either i've lost the plot to this game or Farmerama has People are leaving that have been here for a long time and also the new people that are coming into it arent staying very long ![]() Last edited by Nellie_Noodles : 18.06.2012 at 08:16. |
