YES!!! Am in with all four!!! Am not Dutch but live in Holland and I can tell you, these people have some crazy / wild habbits! And concerning Queen's day - I really like how much this nation loves their Royal family!!
So, bring up the orange clogs ( <-- hint at drop item) and I think Windmill being final prize for the park is great idea! And it would be giving pumpkins as a reward every so many hours, so we can cook more Pjam... YAY!!

oooh yes please. Another non-Dutchy living in Holland who finds this country, it's people, and their crazy customs to be wonderfully adorable and enjoyable.
It might also have a tiny bit to do with my favorite color being orange lol though not generally the particular shade of orange associated with Queen's Day. |

I AM from Holland, and I would loooove an orange event like queens day! (in dutch: koninginnedag) Every kid in the netherlands sells his or her things on flea markets that day, everything is orange, we eat orange cakes, the red white and blue flags go out, and the night before, there are lots of parties everywhere. On the day itself, the royal family visits one or two towns, villages or cities each year, and get a taste of local nicities. (music, kids congratulating them, old games, new games, special food items for which the local town might be famous, and the royals actually join in the games, which is perhaps why we feel like bonding with them ... we see they're humans too ;-) )
It's always a blast to see what the royals are wearing this time, and usually every one is very nice to eachother. The atmosphere of the entire country becomes something special on this day! Orange is indeed the color of everything, Because the founders of our royal house long long long ago was called Willem Van Oranje (= William of Orange) . (losely translated) So, therefor the royals are the "oranges" , no fruit pun intended. Everything dutch, like cloggs, cheese, windmills, tulips, dikes and watercanals, ...well, anything that CAN change into orange, does change into orange, for one day. Everybody gets out their orange shirts, hats, scarfs, shoes and crazy wigs they use for soccer or skating cheering, and puts them on... Orange nail polish, glasses,... you name it!! GREAT IDEA for farmerama! ![]() BP don't forget, APRIL 30th!! = Queensday!

Thank you all for your suggestions. It was nice to celebrate a small part of this wonderful tradition on the farm.
