Why am i getting such a low return on my crops, in the main field, I have an owl, since then seems to be worse off!!!.... and do we really need the sloth?

when you say low return is it EP or crops? and whats the size of your fields?
you might want to be a little more specific and also post your ID just in case a tech needs to check your farm

the owl grants you 10% additional EP for everything you harvest after harvesting the owl for 10 minutes

Firefly, can you clarify which crops seem to be 'worse off' and are you harvesting your owl before or after you harvest crops etc.

Sid the Sloth brings a bonus %, dependent on what is on the board. The hat brings EP, the barn brings crops and the coin brings - well coin. The percentage bonus is shown on the board as well.

sorry I am talking about ep it just seems very low all the time, on the main field. the others are ok, also dont seem to pick up as many items there,.

The EPs depend on the type of crops/fruits/animals you harvest. So if EPs on your main field are lower than on the others, I would guess you are growing lower level crops on your main field, which results in less EPs.

The amount of drop items doesn't depend on the +%EPs bonus. It's random and can only be increased with trophies won from Farmers' Society quests (Country Fair and Farming Contest (http://en.board.bigpoint.com/farmerama/showthread.php?t=282206)).

Yes I am aware that lower grade crops give less ep.... but i guess i have to accept your answer, although i dont agree with it, I can only go by the way the game plays, ....

while your there though could you tell me please how to send a bonus after a purchase to another player? thanks

The extra EPs should be added, if you have bonus activated. If you are still not sure I suggest you harvest a single field and check EPs before and after harvesting. If it is indeed not there, please report back, I will keep this thread open.

Bonus that is offered to your neighbours upon you purchasing an item is sent to them automatically the moment you complete your purchase.

I'm not quite sure what you mean with no nocturnal birds from your owls. If what you are referring to have is Owl tree, it only gives +10% EPs on anything you harvest within 10 min of activating it. It requires 30 min to become available again.

If you are expecting to produce owls, then you need to have Owl park (=animal pen), which was available for the first time in the latest Mystery Stable event.

that was all change, in the shop... if you look at the owl ad in the shop, it says small nocturnal birds will hatch and circle your farm.... anyway only one bird hatches and that is the owl itself I guess thats what you mean then....

I play this game with my grand sons... they love it... I have to add that it is a lovely game the little animals realistic with a cutey look... your artists are amazing, being older (60) i find the games incredible... must take hours to work everything out... thanks again for your time....
