Need a break!

Hello,
What is the best state or way to leave my fields/crops/animal/trees? if I need to take a break?

How long is it feasible?

If you haven't opened the rune on the wisdom tree for vacation time, then it is best for you to put out trees and animals because unlike crops even if they mature they are still viable. You should probably place your longest growing crop without water or manure, giving them and you time to relax. Or you could buy vacation time

Hello clarice01 the best way is to leave your fields empty so they do not turn to weeds and lose the crops you planted. Your farm will stay for 4 weeks before it will be classed as inactive but you would lose all neighbours in that time so your meadow will be empty, anything in there should be harvested and put into inventory.

Thank you, that's very helpful. I hate to lose neighbors and not send them gifts, but I really need a break.

How long does it take to lose neighbors, aside from them dropping me possibly due to no gifting or more likely inactivity?
