Help for Santa quest removed

I was on the last level of the Help for Santa quest but had not yet provided the last two remaining items as I am not yet at the Island. Though remote, it is still possible that I would reach there and be able to provide the items before the quest ended in early February so why has it been removed from my Farmers' Society?

last i read there was a glitch that allowed you to see the current quest even if you are not high enough level. i think that has somehow been fixed as any quest you are not high enough to accomplish is " locked" until you reach aquired level.
