View Full Version : Hovering cursor placement issue.

Roughly 75% of the time, the "hover point" for highlighting your manure pile, barn, (and maybe 25% of the time the water tower/house/harvestor) is situated above the actual icon itself a ways, instead of over the item itself.

Also, the plant multiple option while holding the CTRL key sometimes causes sticking or cursor hover placements to not light up, requiring the user to let up on the ctrl key to regain hover-point functions. Don't know if it's a stickykeys issue or not, my sticky-keys function is disabled.

Edit: I apologize for the thumbs-down icon usage, I didn't squint at the screen well enough before choosing it, and thought it was a red question mark icon. Please ignore it. Darned widescreen LCD's and small text-icon size settings.

Thanks, for letting us know. Can you please post your UserID so we can look into this? Also tell us if the same thing occurs if you use a different browser.

Whoops, sorry, I thought the poster ID was the same listed in the forum, since I was automatically logged in when linked to the forums. In this case, the forum name is the same as my in-game name, or is the info your requesting the ID number at the bottom of my screen?

On a further note, the issue with the ctrl key and the hovering cursor issue seems to be repeatable, and has a certain pattern to it, about 90% of the time, it seems to occur moving from specific plots to the next plot, although the pattern itself is not repeating within itself. For example, if memory serves, I select the crop on the lot in the NE corner, the ctrl-drag works for selecting the next two, then the third it won't highlight. then 2 again, and another freeze, then usually over a row and a half, roughly 12 plots before the next freeze, then 3, and the pattern eludes me beyond that.

So in other words, what I'm saying is the pattern seems to be either order or position related :D, since I always plant my plots now in the same order.

Sorry about that, was kind of hesitant at first, you know how so many other games stress into your head "Never give out your user name or ID", etc, etc. Guess they have made me paranoid.:D

Heya Thor,

I was having this same exact issue and couldn't complete a quest. Everything was delayed and off centered.

I just cleared my internet cache and everything was fixed. This will be something you'll need to do often to help the game run smoothly.

If you need help with instructions clearing them, visit the "How To" (http://en.board.bigpoint.com/farmerama/showthread.php?t=179465) section, it is very thorough.

Happy Gaming, thor!

Hi Thoranius,

No one but people from support can do anything with your UserID, but we need it to help you out (or test out what'S going on in your account).

After looking in your account, everything seems to be working fine. No hovering problems or dragging/planting/dropping problems.

Have you tried clearing your cache (see link in my sig)

Let me know if this helps!

Well, the hovering error over the barn and compost heap seem to have fixed themselves without a cache reset, doing the cache reset now to see if it alleviates the CTRL hover issue. Then again, it could just be part of the curse that is IE8, it seems to be the most prone to flash-stickykeys related issues.
