Orb or Book, What's your preference?

I use both a lot. It mostly depends on the situation.

I'm only level 18. And find the book to be very helpful against the enemies that are close to my level. Anything higher than 19, I use an orb. A very well put point.. life over a few critical hits.

I am 40 lvl so i picked gorga book.It has a lot of critical so i have manage to reach it 2417.
I have a legendary orb but i dont use it.

Prefer the book myself. staff is too slow and gets you killed from ranged attacks, and orb seems to take me forever to kill a mob which puts me in danger longer (especially bad in rooms full or ranged mobs). If i find i need to just run past an area with lots of ranged mobs I slap on an orb for extra protection but that's about it.

Orb, is good if legendary and you have a really good weapon, otherwise... the mage isn't ment to block, we haven't eaven got enough life points.. ranger has much more...(and my dk at a lower level allready got the life points my levle 40 mage has... rofl)the staff, is only good... if it's quick and more powerfull... like herold's mighty staff... but neally all mages are used to have book... as you have much higher damage rate... and there isn't a legendary orb dropp from any monsters, only a book dropp from gorga...
So, if you want to use orb, get one of the best ones... if not, just get legendary weapon with book, or gorga book with khallys starlight... you'll have a great damage value....

I love to use books because as spellweaver something like defense they dont depend much. Only depend with defense is melee hero like dragonknight. Spellweaver is long ranged fighter which use more attacks than defense. Of course you can be easily killed when you dont use orb but remember good controlling your spellweaver is the most powerful technique you can make which your spellweaver very agile and untouchable by damage instead you keep attacking them with critical damage. Wow! If you can do this, i guaranteed that you can fight at high level monsters or bosses on your own ( solo ) without making group invitation. This is the true Legendary Heroes maybe Legendary Players.
