With a two-handed weapon you rely more on killing opponents to prevent further damage, getting health spheres to regenerate and run&hit attacks. So lags and the bug where you hit into hot air is more severe and in the fireworks of the parallel worlds you might actually not notice for a while you hit hot air. The headbutt seems to have a longer range than the two-handed weapon. You can successfully headbutt an opponent and then hit into hot air with left mouseclicks. It's easier to craft a legendary lvl 40 shield than a lvl 40(or 39 or 37) two-handed weapon. I am at quest 2 and overall I got 8 improved duria flambard drops and one extraordinary duria flambard drop, but I often see an extraordinary shield drop. I still use a two-handed weapon and I think it's fun, though I do think I die more often than if I would use a one-handed weapon. If there is a tank in drakensang online, then it's the guardian of the mage. The dragonknight isn't a tank, just a character with melee attacks and wide area stuns instead of ranged attacks. Dragonhide is simply a mean to be able to continue melee attacks. |

In Parallel Worlds, the SW's Guardian gets dismantled rather quickly. Contrary to your line of thinking/reasoning, having a true DW tank is vital in PW or when running Gorga, etc. on diff mode.

In my opinion I like two handed weapons better.
