Got a unique drop, windrunner bow while grinding for blue is slif yest.. Had read in another section how awesome the bow was so I couldn't wait to use almost all my pittance of CoT's to ID it. LOL. Thanks for absolutely nothing.
Not going to believe what anyone says anymore in here lol.
Anyway, back to grinding, seriously need CoT's now. HAHAHAHA...crud

It's the same with all dropped unique items. The best bow you can have depends on your level and they can be bought cheaply from an Armourer. If you drop an upgraded version of that bow then great but don't look at uniques as being super weapons. They aren't!!! As a Ranger you are looking at Bone Bow when you hit level 40. Before that just stick with the best Blade Bow you can make.

Yeah my bone bow is made of awesome now its upgraded, its actually better than the last unique longbow you can get (which is herolds bow)

stats/enchants/gemslots/gems used* post info please* id like to see that bonebow if its better then a heralds with 5 polished gems.

heralds with 5 polished damage is
164-196 damage,+250 critical,0.83 attack speed, 150 dps(damage per second)

heralds with 5 polished speed is
114-146 damage,+250 critical, 1.04 attack speed, 135 dps(damage per second)

Okay, well first off it IS missing the crit.
Second if I'm wrong I'm sorry, but without upgrades it original attack was more http://en.board.bigpoint.com/drasaon...d.php?t=458543, so assumed with upgrades that would be the same case so

131-173 <-- one +10 damage gem is what I have it at now

So..

171-213 with 5? *not sure how the gems work xD)

I suppose what I meant was, with a bow like that, farming herold doesn't seem worth it jsut for the crit.

the percent damage enchants add a percent to your weapons total, it includes damage from gems. so yes it would have a bit more damage then a heralds with 5 damage gems. nice find. especially lucked out with 4 gemslots.. ive ided many items and never managed to find a legendary bow with 4 slots and all damage increasing enchants like that. congrats.



heres some math for ya

base max is 92. add the 25 from the 2 damage enchants brings it to 117.add 50 from 5 polished damage gems will bring it to 167. now calculate in the 29% damage bonus from the percent enchants wtih is approx 48(percents include damage from damage gems) thatll bring it to approximately 215 damage.

so youd have 19 more damage the a heralds bow, but no 250 critical bonus


250 crit doest seem like a lot, but it can be depending how low or high your crit is. at lower crit values 250 is worth more to your %. at higher crit values it worth less %. a critical hit deals up to double damage to the target.

so it would be a preference. the extra damage or extra crit.

Well wow.. lol.
I don't mind not having the 250 crit, I WAS trying to make up for it in my left sided stuff.. but I just keep getting more damage >.< ID'd a ring and got 36 extra damage on it >.>

I dunno if you'll hate me for this, but this is the very first bone bow I ID'd.... lol...

I would still like a Herolds bow, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get it, since this bow, I'm in love with haha =P
