Default Gem recovery

I would suggest a gem recovery system.
If for example you have a staff at level 30 equipped with a nice ruby and you find a better staff at level 35 it would be nice to be able to recover the ruby. You would loose the staff but be able to recover the gem. But it would also cost you 5 gold or so to do because thats what a blacksmith chargers for removal.

This is something a lot of people have been asking for since a long time in a lot of threads. Just try out the “Search” function to see for yourself. In one of them, we have been informed that the developers intend to implement gem removal, but they must focus on Atlantis first:

And as our mods would say, welcome on the DSO forums and next time, please use the “Search” function before starting a new thread on an already existing topic.
Have fun!

Thank you for your response Xanatos, and you are correct.

There has been a lot of talk and discussion about gem removal from players, and the Developers are aware of these discussions.

And yes the link provided is a detailed discussion on this very topic and you can find more on this topic using the search function as stated.
