Chat is another language

Anyone know why the chat messages in game are in another language besides English. My language is set to English on home page and when I first started the game everyone's messages appeared in English and then not. Can someone help me please. I am on the Agathon server

Agathon is populated by all kind of people, including non-english and they can type on whatever language they want.
I think people can write on their own letters if they programs such as FlexType, but i am not sure.

Are the letters you see are english based?

Hello Zyvarius and Welcome to the boards,

Severs are not language specific and DSO supports a global gaming community. Each player can select from many languages to play and chat ingame. Your personal language choice has no impact on the languge choice of other players.
