Khalys in Khalys' Elysium

I have been trying to kill this lady for probably 2 days.. she's a level 26 unique in the prison of souls, I'm a level 25 DK and she kills me in 2 hits.

what do I have to do to kill this lady?

Hello Vizzar. Khalys is a tough lady.

There are a lot of people who have posted various strategies for killing her, even some great videos, so I would advise that you first do a search to see what some of those strategies are and how you can leverage them. Trying to solo her at level 25 is extremely tough. Even trying to kill her with a group of 5 at level 25 is difficult without some serious buffs.

I think that it's impossible to solo "her" at that level and without any extraordinary equipment. She 2-hit kills you with her ranged attacks I guess, her melee ones are not that tough (still, you'll need good armor pieces).

Try grouping with higher levels or with people who have killed her before and know the "tricks".

P.S. Don't despair when you see her self healing

Level up a few times, get better gear and try again. I'm not sure that even a group of 5 lvl 25-s could do anything.

In all honesty forget Khalys. She's too powerful to solo at any level. To get a group together (all level 30+) is going to be difficult. I believe a lot of players have given up trying to beat the three "BIG" bosses.

Is this thing real? Me and two friends started playing this game and have no little problems going through it so far. We are all level 24 and have just been following the quest lines. With clearing the rest of the area we got up to a quest to kill khalys. Well, we walked into the room and died instantly from homing attacks. How is this thing level appropriate at all? It honestly made me quit playing the game last night and I don't know if I even want to go back. Just killing little monsters and doing quests is only fun for so long. I would like to kill some bosses, but if the rest are like this, what is the point?

There are 3 bosses like this in the game. Herald of the Anderworld, Sigrismarr Frostclaw, and Khalys. All three are meant to be tackled with a high lvl party of 5. Every other boss in the game can be soloed with relative ease. If you wish to kill khalys, it is possible for you in a few more lvls. 5 players in the high 20's is needed, 2 of which should be DK's. They will need to get in close while the rest dump damage on her. I highly recommend watching some videos online to get a good feel for how to take her on.

How many big bosses are there then? Because this is only the second one we have come across. When do I get to another big boss I can actually kill?

Your first two "unique" bosses that you "can actually kill," as you said, are Heredur and Arachne. The first is in King's Crypt normal mode, a lvl 17 boss. You've likely come across him already.

The second, Arachne, is in Loxley Caverns, which is in the northwest section of the Troll Canyon. She is a lvl 30 unique boss, and, if you have someone that plays with you, can very likely be killed by you right now. If you are looking for that kind of challenge, I would suggest going there.

Other than the three "endgame" bosses I spoke of earlier, these are the only other unique bosses in the game right now. BP has mentioned that they will be adding a new region to the game soon, so plan on seeing at least one more shortly.
