Tree Root Creatures - Far Too Hard!!!!

In the Rootrock Cavern there is they Root Creatures. The normal ones are OK. But the boss is FAR too hard. Their distance attacks are far too hard, you should be able to dodge them just like other distance attacks. Every time I meet him he hits me with that, slows me down, I get swarmed and killed. Its IMPOSSIBLE unless you are a much higher level. This needs fixed as its frustrating me and I might not spend for Adermant for a game thats unfair.

Just try group whit someone, im sure your not the only one who need to kill that tree.

cBenton92 - You are correct, many of the "boss" and "semi-boss" creatures are nearly impossible to kill when taken solo and at level. But, as I can tell you from experience as a player, eventually you will learn techniques, perhaps one or two levels further on, where you can succeed.

Perhaps you should go somewhere else, solve a different quest, and give this area a try another time. Stick with it. The satisfaction of success is worth it.

There is a normal mini-boss there which you need to kill for a quest (center on the map), but there is an another one, which appears randomly on the map sometimes not at all. Now that one is a mean thing compared to the other one. Even my lvl3x -ish SW almost died from it. I deliberately run away from it with my other characters not wort the hassle.

Well that is a big downfall from this game. Sometimes I am not in a group because friends are offline but Im trying to progress yet theres a monster that I cant kill myself? That is a bad thing in my mind! I cant go anywhere else. The caves that you use tokens for dont seem to work for me. I have a token but when I go to enter it just keeps saying "Connection Established" but stays there, meaning I cant go to most other caves or dungeons, just the normal ones which are too hard for my current Level 22 Dragonknight who has all the top equipment yet cant get anywhere!!

Imo the solution for everythign will be,
every dungeon will be set to SOLO difficult.
Once you enter the dugneon whit 2 players, the difficult will be reset to double the solo dungeon difficult + ~10% more difficult couse of the tactics of players.
Once entered by 3 people dungeon will reset to triple the difficult of a solo dungoeon + ~15% more difficulty cosue of the tactic combos of players.
And so on...

The additional percent difficult is couse the monsters are simply doubled difficult, but the strategy and combos and tactic of players is increased dramaticaly not just double.

I agree because I prefer playing solo, not having to worry about teammates and get more sense of achievement when clearing out dungeons, but its just far too difficult right now which frustrates me into not wanting to play no more!!

My suggestion is for you to grind in other maps to increase your character level. When I was a level 24-25 SW or Ranger, I was able to kill them easily. I believe it also makes a difference on how you play. Making bosses more tough, makes it more of a challenge for the player. Where else is there? Nowhere!! Catacombs is what everyone else has been doing to be able to increase level and experience before taking out monsters that they can't handle. Grind in Catacombs or other dungeons before taking on those that you can't manage.

Yeah but at level 22 the creatures in the Catacombs give me next to no exp! I dont like how they give you less and less exp the higher you get it means you cant grind in good spots! If it was set exp per creature and their level trust me I would be grinding like a **EDITED**!!

That yellow scream (im not using bulgarian) the skill that gives you additional deffence for period of time, also gives you rage. Use it and paralyze rush them. The aoe skill that put a bleed on them also will decrease their attack speed.

Just think of a good combos. If health orb drop near the boss, dont pick it no matter how much life you are. Be patient and regen your health so you can save it for mid fight whit the boss.

Yeah I have been using my skills all the time mate. Been using some potions I bought along with buffs. Been using my scream and my rush and mighty swings when full of rage but their health is vast compared to mines. Especially when with this boss I cant run around him until i regenerate as his attack hits me no matter what.

I have all magic and Extraordinary items mate. My weapon is just under 30 damage per second which owns everything in the shop I can use currently. I got some great armour from some Iron Chests which I used loads of CoT to identify and their armour value bonuses are wicked! My rings and decorations give loads of bonus damage, health and critical health bonus which makes some difference. However this is the first boss I have came accross that I just cant come close to killing. I can usually kill bosses by using my scream, paralyzing then mighty swinging them until my health gets low then potion. Then when low again I run around them until my health regenerates then repeat process until they die. But because this dudes range attack hits you no matter what and even worse slows you down for 5 seconds, makes it impossible for a Dragonknight like me to compete with. And no matter how many I kill, theres goons and witches that always appear for backup even after I clear out the surroundings before going for him. This just makes it 2x harder. So frustrated right now!!
