A question to DSO Team

So guys for a long time im wondering something
This is question more like for anyone who is working as a developer atlleast for a while.

So my question is,
Do bosses of game companys hiring their emplyeeson the skills plus Degree?
What if the employee have good programming skills for example but has no degree at all, does the chief going to hire him in his company?
Does chiefs care for degrees or they are looking only at the skills and the personal sheets that are a must for game-designer such as passion and many more?

Unless you know someone you most definitely need a degree not having one on your resume pretty much makes it a waste of paper

What if the employee shows a project the maded, if we consider the project is well made.
Does the chief even gonna bother to check it, or if he see he is whithout degree he wont even give an eye on the rest of the resume that will involve that project?

Im trying to say, does degree is a must? If you show your skills, is it possible to hire you and skip the degree?

For example here in my country no one actualy care if your skills are good, they care only for the degree and if you have them you dont even have to show what skills you have.
