I looked but couldn't find it anywhere...is it written in it that when you bid on auction items that you lose the money even if you don't win the bidding?

I went from 54k cel to 5k cel in a matter of minutes. It was my own stupidity for not watching my cel count so don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, just want to help any newb's coming along that do the same thing.

BTW, even though I dropped that many cel...I didn't win one thing. Oh well, it's all free and virtual anyway.

This is taken from the FAQ:-


The marina is the place where elite equipment is auctioned off. Bids for these items have to be made in Cel, or they can be bought right away for Helix using the “Buy now” option.

You can bid for your own elite equipment here. An auction lasts exactly 59 minutes. The person who makes the highest bid wins the auction. Note: If you’re not the highest bidder, the Cel you made your bid with won’t be reimbursed.

The offers in the marina change on an hourly basis.
