Mentioning ANYTHING in Global is not going to get you banned unless you trigger the auto ban (with that being said, there are some topics that might trigger an immediate ban). The Chat Mods have been increasingly tolerant of topics that are listed as inappropriate in the guidelines. They have been giving out multiple warnings about dropping inappropriate topics that, to me, seem to go on way too long.

Your topic, cheats/scripts, has been well documented as an inappropriate topic. CM's always post to submit proof via a Support Ticket but not discuss it in chat.

I wasn't on during the mentioned ban but could easily imagine that after being warned not to discuss cheats you either continued to discuss it (this constitutes disrespect by ignoring CM guidance) or you responded to the CM with some comment that directly challenged them or indicated you had a "right" to discuss a topic that is not allowed (this also constitutes disrespect).

Follow the rules, don't get banned. Pretty simple actually.

Hey flyby...I'm pretty sure that dt knows the rules, as he has been playing far longer than you. Don't let your imagination fool you. Evidence has been submitted about the cheats so your answer to his question is inadequate at best.

First, lets keep in mind rules about conduct and how you communicate with each other in the forum are as strict and as non forgiving as those in chat. Respect is a big one as well as the fact that flames and insults will not be tolerated.

In actuality Flybynav's response is spot on.

It is common knowledge, especially to those experienced players that have been around awhile, that any discussion of cheating is not tolerated within global chat. Regardless of whether there is a current issue that has been or has not been fixed. The chat system is NOT the appropriate platform to discuss or voice opinions.

If you have issues, opinions, comments or evidence of cheating it MUST be submitted through the support ticket system. This allows for documentation first and foremost.

Continued disregard for warnings can and will be considered moderator disrespect. So will any flippant response to that warning.

Also please keep in mind moderators are human and are not technical writers but volunteers.

IGNORING a problem doesnt make it go away


secondly show me where i am not allowed to complain about a cheater, yes pointing the finger at a specific group or player is against the rules but pointing out a serious MISTAKE is NOT CE7 has and WILL continue to cost BP games, why buy helix when u can cheat for it, why spend months workin for battle points when u can cheat for them , and LASTLY why support a game that allows it ? (cheat engine 7) (any cheat for that matter)

I agree with DT... the cheating is getting out of hand... 2of the top 5 in battlepoints have pushed their way to that ranking... "Natsun." and"»¥«*UPF*»¥«Bad_Angel" at least those two... possibly the other 3 as well.
Natsun went from below 40k bp to 130k in about a month or so!
»¥«*UPF*»¥«Bad_Angel went from around 30k-40k to 112k in 2 weeks!
The top 3 in BP on most days they play average 4k-6k! It's only possible to get that on the US server if you have a doubler, and that's playing ALL day

Mac i sent videos , Multiple videos of this specific cheat in action, me fighting boats that inflict 5x my damage ,and take 5x less damage -- same caned response.

Heck i found a video on utube of a player STILL in deep bragging about pvp ammo they guy had 40k battle points AND HE IS STILL PLAYING ....your supposed to have 120k battle points to open the pvp ammo for purchase AND HE IS STILL PLAYING DEEPOLIS our tickets are reviewed Mod/players not by big point employees
and my favorite sit in Spanish chat with a translator running , they are allowed WAY MORE LEE way than English chats , there allowed to discuss the Mods personal identities something that will get you a perma chat ban

Bottom Line...chat guidelines are chat guidelines.

Any or all comments or conversations that are about cheating "of any kind" will not be tolerated.

Its not allowed. You can not get anymore straight forward and simple than this.

If you bring up cheating , again of any kind, you will either get a warning or a straight up ban. Experienced players know the rules there fore shouldn't need a warning to remind them.

The other issues are immaterial to the context of the post. Which was about the ban. If you want to discuss the cheating issues, then it is much more constructive to do so within another medium other than Chat. Global chat is not the place and will never be the place.

If you bring up cheating or cheat engine, you will get a ban.

It is not a god given right to go onto global chat and discuss whatever you wish. There are rules, and complaining about various topics can be considered chat disruption.

People and companies make mistakes, as you so duly have noted.

As with anything in life things are often what you make of them.
